I learn something new each time I watch these videos. Today I see how much more beautiful the Left radical for silk is when the second stroke is written at a downward angle than it is when done as if following a typed character and is parallel to the fourth stroke. Thank you. Ann

At 3:06, that character is a cursive script adapted from Huai Su's autobiography. The left part is the section header 糸 written in cursive style.
