  • I go through caffeine withdrawal symptoms about 48 hours after I stop drinking caffeine. And, I am sensitive enough to caffeine that about 12 ounces of decaffeinated coffee can trigger the addiction & withdrawal. If I drink two cups of regular coffee for two days (one each day), the withdrawal will be severe and include: fever, shakes, nausea, etc. I am truly FRIGHTENED to consume caffeine. It's awful!

  • Yeah,I've been about 4 days without caffeine and I'm getting muscle aches, headaches and drowsiness.I was drinking about two cups of tea a day with the occasional coffee on the weekends.

  • I am going through caffine withdrawal now. I stopped drinking it yesterday after I went to the gym and got dehydrated (got the caffeine out of my system), but I haven't drank any caffeine until about 20 minutes ago. My symptoms include: irritability, lead headed/fogginess, hot flashes, anxiety and an over all just feeling bad.

  • I have a headache and I'm tired. It's been 2 days now.

  • @tofutantra Did it get better? I am stopping all cafeine for a week to see if I end up feeling BETER worse or the same. Obviously I want to see if maybe i feel better

  • nice tree !

  • Thanks for telling us all the symptoms can last up to nine days for those who are prone. I have read a lot of stuff saying they last a week, some stuff saying up to two weeks. I really want to know what to expect in case I need to get checked out for something else. Let's hope this abates after 9 days. 3 more to go!

I thought I was a moderate to light user, until I found out how much is in strong tea! With 4-5 cups, I am really a fairly heave user.

  • I'm in the sixth day since my last dose. I have waves of intense irritability and restlessness. I feel a 'crash' at night. Very drowsy, which is good because I am prone to insomnia, and sleep is a big issue. I have muscle tenseness and feel overwhelmed by stimuli (light, sound). I have a lot of anxiety when the symptoms are worst. Their intensity comes in waves. I have had diarrhea since about the second day. I'm fluctuating somewhat between a lot of sleep, some nights, and disturbed sleep

  • i have a little fever, light headedness, anxiety (definitely), but i sleep really well. i'm not tired, more like lose and cracking tendons/bones.

main symptom for me are anxiety, slight fever and stomach problems like gas. lol.

  • I decided that i was addicted to coffee and energy drinks and energy pills. Yes I took all of them. Now I am not taking them. I had a headache that would not go away at all. Then I was sooo tired and my body didnt want me to do anything. I never expeirenced this before. So I basicly got all the symptoms you said. But it is horrible to go thru this when you have three small kids to take care of.....anyway, thanks for this video

  • @hairstylechic27 yeah me too, blackjacks, stackers, columbian coffee, rockstars, monsters, no label, no doz, no snooz , anything and everything to get a buzz, im much more controled than i used to be im down to one energy drink a day, winter of 09 i was at 4-5 energy drinks plus 2-3 blackjacks just to feel normal. i hated myslef and began hallucinating due to lack of sleep, i than began to be quite tired and could never sleep, almost a week of withdrawls and a 3 week vacation stopped it

  • I probably take in about 100 ml of cafffeine a day or roughly 2 cans of soda. I drink coffee maybe 5x a year. Anyways, I recentally tried quitting these 2 cans of caffeinated soda and tried to buy and trick myself with non-caffeinated root beer. Well my body knew better. I got headache, was less alert, drozzy, and I got a runny nose with sneezing. I basically felt like I had the flu without the muscle aching and high fever ( though i felet like I had a small fever)

  • I stopped soda cold turkey a few days ago. I was drinking 2-3 20oz Mountain Dew's daily. I 'm dealing with a sluggishness and a severe headache. But it's all good, it'll be better in the long run. The headache has some what subsided. So i'm hoping within a week or so i'll be good to go.
