@alanmackalanmack: Maybe if you could give an explanation of the lesson learned from this for those that aren't familiar with off strip operations (everyone on here seems to be an expert of course...)? I'd say the lesson was to make the run just on top of the surf out of the water on the hard pack no? (I have limited off strip, but no beach experience).
man... I would hate to be the guy paying for an annual on this plane! This is going to be a MX bad dream in about 2 weeks! Please tell me that was fresh water... Lake Michigan... something! Anything but salt water. I can't look anymore!
