  • Michael will always be my hero. I wish I could have met him. RIP MICK!!!

  • A great Irishman. The modern history would be far different today, had he not been killed.

  • What a strange thing to be asked what song would you like played when your time comes . This is one and my last farewell as well two great songs hope the play them I won`t be there to find out

  • @cunteojones He had no choice, just think on that.He was told that if he did not sign the treaty that England would destroy Ireland, with a terrible war, so what choice did the great man have, pray !

  • Collins was a Warrior and a Statesman. Shame that Collins fought with his own people and blood and 80 years later the decendants became more Britisth than the British slavishly dancing to the bankers tune. A Zombie nation financially.

  • my dad loved this I do as-well look what has gone has gone lets go forward

  • when my time comes this will be played as i`m layed to rest

  • So beautiful this song and M Collins did what he could for Ireland but had no chioce in what he did as he was threatened by England that if he didn't then a terrible war would be the alternative, and he knew also that he would die for his actions, so he was a very brave man.

  • @blackiron60 one crock of shit! michael collins is a far bigger hero than that double crossing lying bastard de valera. de valera was a politician. can you tell me the difference between the irish free state and the republic of ireland?

  • @blackiron60 On the contrary. The Dail ratified the Treaty... the Democratically Elected representatives of the Irish People. Therefore, as Commander in Chief of the IRISH PEOPLE'S army, is it not fair to say that he was executed by enemies of democracy who turned their backs on the will of the majority of their own own people?

  • @clanntara An election and a Dail that the Brits and the Catholic Church did all they could to manipulate. It was hardly a triumph of democracy.

  • Still top notch Pat, absolutley amazing !
