tempered glass dont mean stronger. tempered means it was heated to almost melting point and then cooled rapidly making the glass break into pebble size breaks, and non tempered breaks off into big sharp pieces. tempered is the way to go but it dont make it stronger, if anything weaker.

that would be very cool! the hard part, is actually putting an accelerometer in it, so it knows when the user turns the laptop, and then the laptop's screen rotates.

he don't have to use accelerometer, all he has to do is just rotate the screen using intel graphics properties. putting an accelerometer is just like an unwanted pain in the ass

You should put a green tint to the back of the screen so when the pc is on the system lights up green. Over all it is a really cool idea.
