we could create different universes in computers with different laws of physics. Sentient programs/beings that might arise/evolve in this simulation will never know they are inside one coz they could only investigate their world through the physics we gave them. Or we could be living inside one

The whole fad of speculative theories of dimensions higher than 3d is an intellectual fraud. Don't allow yourself to believe this based on the overwhelming authority that says it is so. Use logic and think for yourself. Dimensions are an axis of space with reference to the others, not something that is a direction here, but a time period there.

One way to see the other dimensions is to take psychedelics.... seriously try lsd for instance it breaks away (im guessing three dimensional) filters of your brain allowing you to see other dimensions, one dimension in particular would be what we call enlightenment. this dimension consists of pure light and a feeling of Ecstasy. and others complex seires of geometric pattern as expianced on dmt the a chemical found in almost all life. and witch is realesed in are brains in sleep and b4 Death

ah...i believe that that we can find out more about the universe the further we evolove. yes im catholic, but who says time made God create the world in 7 24-hour periods? i have a fundamentalist friend that believes this. im not sure. point is, we only "see" 3+1 dimensions. our brain usage(5-10%) goes no further, so if we can "trick" evolution into furthering our intelligence. who wants first try?=)

the irony of this theorie is that in the attempt to explain everything, we only were able to explain the laws of physics in our own universe, because the laws of physics might be entirely different in other universes.

@SaintBroken Actually other Universes are what is usually considered the 5th, 6th and 7th dimensions. The 5th dimension encompasses all universes that were created by different quantum choices to form different quantum realities, and, thus, different universes. The 6th dimension is the dimension in which travel between instances of the 5th dimension is possible. The 7th dimension consists of all universes created by a different chain of events at the big bang. So, theyre really all one universe.
