I was with Sprint PCS back in the Summer of 2003 & loved Sprint back then since Sprint was an awesome company & even more awesome than Verizon was at the time, but now my wife & I are with Verizon Wireless & have been with Verizon since 7/28/07 and we love it, but the reason why we switched from Sprint to Verizon 3 years ago is because Sprint went downhill when they merged with Nextel, so now we're with the other wireless provider that operates off CDMA technology.

at&t's 3G speed (3.6Mbit) is much faster than verizon's (1.4Mbit). Actually at&t's 2.5G speed is the same as verizon's 3G speed. And if you included at&t's 2.5G coverage in these maps it would be more than verizon's 3G coverage. Misleading ads for sure.

This is my favorite Verizon commercial yet since I get such a big kick out of it on the way they put down AT&T since AT&T sucks so bad which is why the guys AT&T map didn't cover enough to block the view of the TV, unlike the Verizon customer, since that's how bad AT&T's coverage is why gave that AT&T customer one advantage to look forward to, despite the fact that the AT&T customer couldn't get any info on the football scores, unlike the Veriozn customer. AT&T owns Verizon. Except in Cable + Internet where as that sucks. The only good cable is DirecTV, Internet is Verizon FiOS, and home phone is Vonage. AT&T Is my top choice because its cheaper for family plans, and my family has all iPhone's except for me and my mom. When I grow up Im gonna get sprint though, but when I was on a trip from dallas to orlando, I had literally 3G and 5 bars all the way, so something is wrong when verizon draws AT&T's map.

Uh....You do realize that Sprint (Nextel) Uses both its own towers and Verizon's since there both on a HDSPA Network. Thats why both have big coverage. AT&T'S is independent but have different rates. AT&T had moderate coverage, and the fewest dropped calls. Verizon has big coverage, and has low dropped calls, and moderate speed. Then Sprint has biggest coverage, has the fastest network (4G in big cities), and has a LOT of dropped calls. So everyone has + and -.

Go to their website, do a "3G map" search, you get their VOICE MAP not 3G w/ links to cities. Click on your (major) city link & u get VOICE MAP again with NO 3G map.

I LMAO at this commercial and I'm an AT&T customer. Yeah if you go to AT&T website and click 3G coverage, it shows the voice map. On the top left corner move the bar all the way to "Nation" and then move it up 1 click towards "Street" and it will give you 3G and Voice. So, just take out the voice and you have the map that is on this commercial...LOL! Brilliant by Verizon. 99% time where I am I get 3G on AT&T but when my contract is up. I might reconsider. I was with at&t from '05 to the greater part of '09. I bought the 8525 (smartphone) back in '07 w/ the unlimited 3G data plan. Almost half the time, at&t would kick me off from 3G to Edge (2G). For 3 months with no help from the monkeys at at&t, tried to fixed the problem. No go. I dropped the data plan and had to use my very expensive 8525 smartphone with just the media package (cheaper data plan just to check emails)

at&t 3G & voice is below average.
