  • This is in fact Dale Jr not Dale Sr this was the opening race of the Busch series at Daytona in 1998. Dale Jr drove the #3 AC Delco Monte Carlo for DEI and won the Busch championship in 98, and 99. He made his cup debut with DEI in the #8 Budweiser chevrolet in 1999 competed in 5 cup races that year before going full time cup racing in 2000.

  • Landed it I'd say that's was an epic win!

  • @burtonfan2 1997 it was

  • @burtonfan2 well jr did quote, when he flipped at talladega in '10 that he had never flipped a nascar before and ehs glad that he got it out of the way. i know jr did race the AC Delco #3 chevy for the Busch Series, but how do we knwo this was in '98?

  • @burtonfan2 UMMMM! WELL YOU ARE WRONG MY FREIND ,THIS FLIP WAS IN THE 1997 DAYONA 500,CHECK IT OUT AND I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOU TELL ME IM RITE,NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT WAS THE ONLY TIME THAT A CAR FLIPPED THAT I KNOW OF,THAT THE DRIVER GOT OUT AND GOT BACK IN AND FINISHED THE RACE.DALE EARNHARDT,ONE TOUGH CUSTOMER

  • @Mr1963chevy you can read the "AC DELCO" on the hood of the car...sr drove a goodwrench car in the 500....learn how to spell the word "right" and learn how to type with out the caps lock. This is Jr

  • @dudeustupid learn how to speel the word "capital",fuck you and your caps locks.i know how to spell the word i only was abreviating, dudeustupid!

  • @Mr1963chevy learn how to spell the word "spell"

  • @dudeustupid i think hes trolling you

  • @evilwatermelon that'd be weird...cause that last one I was trolling him lol

  • @iReFuZaLx You kids these days. No clue where you all get such a sense of entitlement. Just because you think it's not Dale Jr. doesn't mean it's not. It is. If you knew anything about the sport, you'd notice that Dale Sr. and Dale Jr's wrecks were completely different. Jr's is what's called a blowover, and Sr's was a rollover. Different. Just 30 seconds of research is all it takes, kid. Stay in school.

  • @NOTMYACCOUNTMAN Then again, i wasnt even alive when this happened? So sorry if im wrong and if you have a problem with that

  • @iReFuZaLx yea you teenagers think you know everything lmao its ok thought this is not a sr wreck its a blue 3 ont a black 3 car

  • @121fordfussion Like i said though, its hard to know if im not alive. I know alot about the sport now cuz i watch it eveeyweekend

  • @iReFuZaLx ummm im a 14 year old and I knew that Jr. won the busch series title in 98 and Sr. wasn't even in this race

  • @MIAMetsfan809 I know he won the buesh series title in 98. and 99

  • @iReFuZaLx Silly Silly :)

  • @iReFuZaLx if u wud notice, its a blue #3 and jr drove the AC Delco car, which wuz a blue #3 car, and if u look closely, u can c that there is no "goodwrench" label on the hood... it is in fact, AC Delco

  • @iReFuZaLx so dat means it is dale JR in the busch series

  • @iReFuZaLx lol dumbass im 13 iknow that jr drove the 3 car in the busch series and he won the 1st busch chapionship in that car

  • @AndrewJThomas97 ride..because thats how families work..the Junior is the father of the Senior..totally makes sense bud

  • @iReFuZaLx your a dumb bitch.... Im 15 and that is in fact Jr from his rookie season in the busch series which is now the nationwide series. He drove the 3 ac delco car in 98 and 99 before going full time in the winston cup in 2000. Faggot.

  • @iReFuZaLx Wow, you suck.

  • @iReFuZaLx Fail

  • @iReFuZaLx kid im 13 to and it was a busch race and it was DALE JR

  • @iReFuZaLx dUDE YOUR WRONG DALE JR RACED THE 3 CAR IN BOTH YEARS HE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1998 AND 1999

  • That is Jr.

  • I love noob fans who came into this sport when ESPN took back over. All they know is Dale Jr as #88. I mean one quick Google search will answer all these questions. Most of these children werent even alive when this happened. Read a book or something....

  • He actually just kept driving after that.

  • You don't know nascar if you think this was dale sr.

  • That is in fact Dale Earnhardt Jr. I see where the fuck up is. People see what they beleive is the Black #3 of Dale Earnhardt Sr. But if you look close, Jr's car is Blue not Black. And the Sponsor is A C Delco not Goodwrench. But the #3 is right :))

  • Lol so many idiots that think they know something about nascar. IT IS DALE JR!!! Read some fuckin stats or something morons! He drove this car in the Busch series when he first got started won a couple championships in it too!

  • Um that's not Dale Jr. It is Dale Sr.

  • @MrBrennan008

you are some dumb shit, do you not know how to read comments, or maybe the fucking video description

  • wow

  • thats dale sr. not jr.

  • @jimmieanddale no it's jr

  • @jimmieanddale Dale jr was in the busch series his sponsor was ACdelco and he was also number 3.

  • @WatchdogDisciple i know, i forgot to erase my comment.

  • @jimmieanddale I see. Ok cool.

  • It's jr. i have the diecast upstairs in my room.

  • OMG its funny that ppl say they are a fan of there driver but dont remember anything about him b4 he became popular...wow

  • Dale Earhnardt Jr. ran the number 3 1998-1999 full time (won the championship both years), and then part time 2001-2002, 2010. Steve Park drove the 3 in 1997, and Ron Hornaday drove the car in 2000 with NAPA. Dale Jr. with AcDelco in 98 and 99, Oreo 2001, Nilla Wafers in 2002, and Wrangler this past year. Park had AcDelco.

  • PEOPLE, THAT'S DALE JR'S BUSCH CAR FROM '98. GOOGLE IT

  • @miles24fig You are a dumbass. That is Jr

  • youtube.com/watch?v=m09HB6h2tck

  • It's jr in the napa autoparts 300 Busch serries, the daytona 500 is a different race but they are at daytona national speedway. so this is not the DAytona 500 it's the Napa 300 flip, yes at daytona but not the 500 peeps there we go problem solved, jr flip 98 napa 300 busch serries, not to be confused with the Daytona 500. But it's the same track for both just different race..... and serries

  • @LuricRaja2 Again THIS IS THE B U S C H S E R I E S NOT THE DAYTONA 500 and its jr watch the clip with audio he says oooooo jr

  • proof of this not being jr in 1998 at the Daytona 500. official resaults of the 1998

"nascar.com/races/cup/1998/1/data/results_official.html" just add w w w in front of the quote and remove the quotes. Sr was driving 3 and won that year. also note you can't run the same number in the same race only 1 # can be used

  • proof of this not being jr in 1998 at the Daytona 500. official resaults of the 1998

"nascar.com/races/cup/1998/1/data/results_official.html" just add w w w in front of the quote and remove the quotes. Sr was driving 3 and won that year.

  • It was Dale Jr., he suffered a concution, but went on to win the Busch series championship.

  • Man i knew jr. drove the the #3 before the daytona win!. Their selling his championship car at a store

  • @nazcarfann your mom has a dick and the couldnt have been jr or sn

    the earnharts are black

and that was a white person driving that car you pussy

so there is no what the was jr

  • @BpJhizzle

watch the vid wit haudio, the anouncers even say that was jr, are you mentally challenged?

  • @racinfreak2488

ur a pussy i hope a train hits ur house and your queer

  • that was tony stewart

i wasnt jr or sr it was tony stewart

    all of yall are dumbasses

  • @BpJhizzle your the dumbass

    nationwide.nascar.com/nationwide-series/races/1998/results-official/1

    A little research helps sometimes

  • If that didn't mess up the Toe in and everything so bad he could have probably drove this car to victory lane.

  • sr. won the 1998 daytona 500 so this cannot be him flipping so it has to be jr. and jrs. car number was 3 in the Busch Grand National car.

  • @r3ppge this isn't the daytona 500... it's the busch race

  • He hits the wall at the end. But 11/10 =)

  • DO A BARREL ROLL

  • It's so good to see the addition of the shark-fin this year to help keep these things on the ground.

  • That was Junior Dumbshit get your Earnhardts straight Idiot!

  • i think Jr. just needs to stop running Nationwide series at dayton. he seems to have a hard time keeping them on the ground.

  • JR couldnt put a patch on his dads ass.....HE SUCKS I could drive better than him

  • @hiuall bullshit

  • THAT SUCKS! JUNIOR IS THE MAN!

  • Thats right, burtonfan2. I even have a die-cast #3 Jr. car.

  • who would think it's not jr it's all over the web.

  • thats a sweet looking flip

  • thats a sweet lookig flip

  • he could keep racing with a car like that. it just fliped in the air and landed on its wheels again.

  • @ChevyZ71djd he did keep racing but finished bad.

  • he said suspension messed up on radio

  • He suffered a cuncusion from what I heard.

  • About the same place he flipped in the nationwide race today

  • you suck... jr awesome

  • that may be, but your grammar is not

  • wat u talkn bout? LOL

  • @burtonfan2 Your grammar is just as bad.

  • @EarnhardtGamer

jr cant driver for a shit

  • DALE JUST FLIPED IN THE NNS RACE :(

  • He sucks

  • if he sucks then why did he win the busch championship that year?

  • luck thats y

  • Wow he came back to win the chamionship that year to and the next year.lol

  • Ok people...history lesson . Dale sr.'s #3 car was sponsored by Goodwrench. But you can see AC Delco on the hood of this car, making it jr. not sr. Dale sr. won at Daytona in 98, he certainly didn't wreck out. I watched him win.

  • AC Delco did sponsor Sr. at the exhibition races in Japan Nascar used to have. When Sr. ran the then Busch series, Goodwrench was on the car also.

  • not bad for his first flip

  • @wildfast88 unforunanly the only if not the one of few flips

  • this is jr.!!!!! if you think its sr you do not know NASCAR.

  • Well i wasnt a fan back then (im 16) but ide take your word for it. Surprised people fight that.

  • @MrBigk127 its dale jr moron dalw sr never raced in the busch series wen cup was goin

  • dale sr retired from busch competition before 1998 to focus on winning in the winston series

  • what are smoking thats jr!!!

  • aw man he shouldve barrel rolled

  • Caution, tie rods were harmed in the making of this video.

  • did he finish the race?

  • Good question. Probably not, unless they got a long enough caution flag to get another car.

  • I dont think so.....the car had virtualy no damage....but ive heard when it landed it demolished the suspention.

  • IT WAS THE BUSCH SERIES JACKASS

  • yah this was deffinatly dale jr there, this aint even in the cup series, this is in the busch grand national series back before dale jr even drove the number 8 in the cup series

  • this was when Jr was in the busch series idiot. he was number 3

  • @LuricRaja2 jrs car was blue for 1 and for 2 its sponsor was ac delco not good wrench and for 3 jr drove the 3 car in the busch series won back to back championships 1998 and 1999 and how could this be srs car when he won the daytona 500 in 1998 with a black goodwrench car

  • @gravedigger277 Dale Earnhardt Jr. made two special appearances in 2002 in a #3 Busch Series car: these appearances were at the track where his father died (Daytona) and the track where his father made his first Winston Cup start (Charlotte). this was taken from Jr. Bio right from Jr.'s Bio and race history.

  • @LuricRaja2 no the #3 was retired after sr's death, the only appearence it made in nascar was this year at the nationwide race at daytona in july

  • @bmxking46 not true...jr won in the number 3 at daytona in a busch race...it was a rcr car, the oreo car...can't remember what year it was but it was before the wrangler car this year

  • @Sk8BoardTrucker that was after this, dude i know this is 1998, ive seen interviews and i have newspaper articals from seniors win where it stated that this happend the day before because his son had flown back to north carolina because he hurt his leg. IN THIS CRASH

  • @bmxking46 I know all of that...I was replying to ur comment about the 3 being retired until jr ran the wrangler car this year at daytona...he ran it one time before at daytona and won with it...it was the oreo car and I think it was the same year sr. passed away

  • @Sk8BoardTrucker oh yeah that is true. i thought you were talking about something else

  • @Sk8BoardTrucker Actually he has ran it more than that since SR's accident. He drove it part time in both 2001 and 2002. He also ran it in 2004 a couple of races, because he swept the night race at bristol that year.

  • @Sk8BoardTrucker the year was 2002

  • @bmxking46 FACT: Numbers are not retired in NASCAR like other sports. FACT: Richard Childress owns the number and does not run it in Cup, but his grandson Austin Dillon is running it in the Trucks (The #3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet). FACT: Jr. ran the number a few times after Sr. death such as at the Busch race in Feb 2002 at Daytona where he won.

  • @dot350 than why didn't kevin harvick start running a number 3 instead of a 29 the following weeks? how come there has not been a cup car running a number 3? the only time a 3 has shown up were austin dillons truck (richard childress owned) and dale earnhardt jr. (only in busch) if you do not want to technically say its "retired" than you should realize its as good as retired in the cup series out of respect, which it should be.

  • @bmxking46 Harvick didn't run it because Childress didn't want to run it. Childress owns it and doesn't run it out of respect. In a way it is retired but once Childress no longer owns the number, anyone that wants to use it will be able to. And IMHO he killed the respect thing when he started having his grandson run it...But for the last 10 years since Earnhardt died, Childress has owned the number which is why it hasn't been used, because he "retired" it himself.

  • @dot350 alright i agree with you entirely on all of that, he did kill the respect when austin started running it.

  • @bmxking46 Im with you. I hate Austin running it. Its even weirder that Austin is his grand kid. Some favoritism much?

  • @gravedigger277 nascar.com/races/cup/1998/1/data/results_official.html this is the official ending for 1998 note who came first and who is driving #3, so as a resault this is not jr in 98 as the only 3 in the field is sr and he won that year, so the track is wrong as well as the driver, this is a wreck from a different race not the 500

  • @LuricRaja2 your an idiot, this is dale earnhardt jr in 1998, the day before his dad won the daytona 500, jr stated this in an interview because he had his leg or arm broken (cant remember which) and flew home to northcarolina and missed his dads daytona 500 win. if i come across the interview again ill post it.

  • lol ya im sure its sr hahaha you know its jr rookie stripes on the rear bumper

  • he almost landed it perfectly!

  • Dale Jr took over the #3 car in the Busch Series in 1998 after Steve Park made the move to the Cup Series. This was 1 day before Dale Sr won the 500. He even said during his winner's interview "Dale Jr, I hope you're not too sore". Dale Sr did drive the ACDelco car in Japan in '96 and '97, however, both of those races were on the Suzuka road coarse. This was Jr's 1st race in the 3 car and he landed on Dick Trickle's hood. Oh, and Jr's 1st Busch start was in '96 at Myrtle Beach.

  • yep. its jr. this happened in the busch series, the next year he ran the same car at homestead-miami and ran the last race of the century logo. i see the die-cast every day and it says junior.

  • its jr because its busch series he drove the #3 in that time period

  • mope. jr in the busch series in 98.....

  • ur a fucking idiot

  • Your fucking stupid, you dont see the AC delco logo on the car, and Sr's flig was towards the wall not the grass. Sr's car was black and Jr's busch car was blue, the car in the vid is blue
