@Olie1377 I felt the same way. When you watch the movie, when Marion is talking to Robin in Sherwood forest, if you listen closely to the song the outlaws are singing. This is the song they sing. i had to turn up the background levels to recognize it
@leffew2000 Did I read you correctly? The Outlaws(as in 'Ghost Riders in the Sky') sing Jeff Lynne's song in the movie(which I missed but may see sometime soon)? By the way: Is it me or does the old man featured at 1:29 STRONGLY resemble the first 1960's Doctor Who?! Any takers?
i remember this soundtrack, bryan adams singie from same soundtrack was so massive this was never going to get any airplay which is a pity as this could have been a hit too, although at this point jeff was keeping a low profile
Alan Rickman is my favorite actor and Jeff Lynne is my all time favorite artist. It was quite a pleasant surprise to find their work linked together . Thanks for sharing it for those who may not have heard this before
@Velocity9s, sorry, when I said "the outlaws", I meant the group of Merry Men sitting around the campfire singing.

Asked a silly question before about Doctor Who, then spotted the 'Show More' feature.......Never mind...

Can't believe it's taken me so long to discover Jeff had a song on the Prince of Thieves soundtrack. This has come as quite a shock.

You know I saw this movie and could never find the song on there. Great song though!

Watch it again, Olie. They sing it when Little John's boy is born. It's not sung by Jeff in the film.
