  • Too bad we don't have more artists like her. Such amazing lyrics, it's a blessing to hear them. ~God bless from California~

  • i <3 her voice!! and i <3 this song!!!

  • Gives me goosebumps everytime!

  • I just wanted to say to whomever may be listening that this song has an HISTORICAL BASIS in San Francisco and HEIGHT STREET and the monthe of july,1996. Some things dont necesarily have an historical basis. COMPLEX

  • Beautifully done...

  • Sarah, your song was played for the Memorial Service for my eldest son, Matthew Thomas Miller, 29, on October 25, 2006, your song will forever be our song, God Bless You, he was a friend of Bill W..., it is as if you knew my son, thank you, he is at peace finally..Peace

  • I posted this because it's never failed to bring tears to my eyes.

The wonderous thing is that you commented less than 10 minutes after I uploaded the song. I read your words and gasped aloud, because I too am a FOB, with 28 years built one day at a time.

    How eerie. How beautiful.

It's also poignant that Sarah's last words here are, "Get home safe."

May your sweet boy rest in peace, home at last and finally safe...

    Jeanne

  • Thank you for your response, you are so kind, life is so funny with all of it's quirks and spins, it is eerie, and beautiful, my boy fought demons throughout his short life, and finally took his own life, an overdose, he was sober for quite a while, but he was just not strong enough, and yesterday was the National Day of Out of The Darkness March, for survivors of suicides, I was unable to attend, it is still too fresh in my heart. Be safe, Peace..
