@Sascopa the problem with Israel and Palestine is much more complicated than that. Thousands of years ago, that land belonged to the Jews. But once they got exiled by the Romans, the Arab Palestinians moved in. So Israel could use that to be their justification of reclaiming their homeland. The arabs who live in Israel now are the arabs who fled before they would either be thrown out physically or as in many cases killed for resisting. @Sascopa the problem with Israel and Palestine is much more complicated than that. Thousands of years ago, that land belonged to the Jews. But once they got exiled by the Romans, the Arab Palestinians moved in. So Israel could use that to be their justification of reclaiming their homeland. Then again, the Palestinians have lived there for millenias since the Israelis left so of course they consider that their land and will fight for it. This pattern is ovserbvable everywhere,

@yoeldg Sure not all Palestinians had to flee, some lived on land that was not even seen as worthy of fighting over, for the most part however they did have to flee. The arabs who live in Israel now are the arabs who fled before they would either be thrown out physically or as in many cases killed for resisting. The new limited land that these arab fled to was later stolen from them (again) by Israel during just to mention one example the Six-Day War of 1967.

Nevertheless the majority of Palestinians still are very much against Israel and would love to see it wiped of the map and the land thus returned to them again.
