EA is so bad. On console games you can't play multiplayer at a friends house or something because of the 'Online Pass' code, which costs a lot of money. Also, they do a horrible job of updating. And WHERE THE FUCK IS SIMCITY EA???

6 Reasons why Showtime shouldnt be in Late Night :

- The town would be very crowded and would have even MORE bugs.

- The producers had the Showtime idea after they made Late Night.

- If both games were together it wouldnt have as many features as Showtime will have.

- Probably it wouldnt have the SimPort feature.

- We wouldnt have the limited and collectors EDITION.

- Late Night has a completely different theme, is all about bars, vampires, bands, etc and Showtime is about enternain.

@ReviwerVitor Late Night is NOT a completely different theme. Late Night added bands, the acting career, director career and fame. The gameplay is heavily set on how famous your sim is. Paparazzi stalking your sims, fans being able to ask for autographs, your sim's relationships with others made public, you can't even get into a lot of clubs or bars without being famous enough. It makes no sense. For example, adding bands and leave out singing for a completely other expansion?

Ive been getting sick of all the expansions and Stuff packs. Id rather wait until they start becoming bundles (like with The Sims 1 & 2) then I might start buying them. But $40 for an expansion just seems kind of crazy to me. That is why I have only bought High-End Loft Stuff so far. Plus, Sime 3 for the Wii pissed me off so much that Im going to boycott EA just for that.

I know the online features are optional, but I'm participating in the boycott anyway, because I hate that the option IS there. I don't recall ever playing Sims to "interact with others". I play that game when I want to be left the fuck alone.

Besides, you KNOW EA's going to fuck this up with the accompanying patches. Now, they're going to applying patches to online features between other people's games.... fuck me running. No thanks.

if i play my sims 3 game for over 30 minutes, it will crash but come back on un-harmed. but in some cases i loose the file/household... it gets me mad... i don't know if it is my hard-drive on my pc. if this happens to anyone else please give me answers? should i call EA or a repairman for my pc? help!!

I don't think this is a late night spinoff. Late night was about parties and tall buildings and life in the city. Sure, there were "celebrities", but they couldn't do things like this. Plus, it comes with a whole new world and I'm sure there's a lot more styles that this expansion pack will bring.

1 ) really the social features are being stuffed down our throats. it's really useless considering how popular the sims already is. duh.

I've been playing the sims series since it's first came out,bought all the expansion packs for sims 1 ,bought sims 2 and some expansions but I was always waiting for the sims 3 to be better.So I bought all the sims 3 packs by now and with all of them I am more and more dissapointed.I mean just compare them with sims 1 and 2 era guys,they just choose a theme and add one or two new stuffs and that's all.Because they're expecting you to shop from their new over priced online store.I boycott sims 3.

A sims 3 boycott? People complain a lot. Showtime has lots of new skills! We should be happy they don't listen to everyone! They listened and when we got pets, sims got nothing new to do! This way we actually get stuff and the preview showed LOTS of new hair which is great! Same with master suite, lots of CAS stuff. I will personally go on the site that day just to show support.

That's simply why. :) But I agree with you that Showtime should've been in Late Night, and they should've come up with something new to release for us sims.

They are splitting things up (Showtime and Late Night) that shouldn't be and there is so much content that you have to buy from the sims 3 store (towns, spell book, cool clothing +, furniture) I liked it better when I got a ton of new stuff from packs and stuff, but there isn't that much added to each...

I'm glad to see you agree because I respect your opinions as a fellow simmer. I don't want social features. I get my social time on facebook or playing WoW. If I wanted an MMO I play an MMO. Sim's is me time and I really hate getting all my friends farmvill feed so why would I shove my sims feed down their throats? Also a lot of the stuff in Showtime SHOULD have been in Late Night, especially the DJ booth! DJ's are at clubs, Late Night is all about clubs, wtf?!

I agree with all this. I've played from the first sims when I was young and they had interesting expansion packs like makin magic and pets... then sims 2 came. I counted down the days and it was everything I thought it would be and more. Expansion packs were decent. When sims 3 came I was dissapointed. The people just looked weird and the expansion packs sound pretty sucky. Not to mention the priceyness. It's gone from awesome game to gimic.

Hmm...I don't think i will participate, because it is kind of pointless. In the beginning of The Sims, the creators were all for creating what the fans wanted, but as the fan base grew the corporate people saw a market, and will do anything to expand that market. That is the difference between corporate and creative. They are making a lot of stupid moves with the sims now, and I know I am STILL waiting on a University type expansion...2012 maybe?
