God everyone, stop being so friggin close-minded. Just cause its different doesnt mean its bad. Banjo tooie was almost the same as the first one, so there's no way they could get away with making another one without spicing it up somehow. Also,  the fact that they got fat was meant to be FUNNY. They get thin again within the first five minutes. If this game is bad, its not because of something as stupid as 'its different than the first one.'.

they don't make games like they used to. Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie/tooie, conker's bad fur day, even glover. I miss the era of long 3d platformers with expansive worlds. Those games lasted me months. (keep in mind i was like 12) Now i beat games in like a day or two. i guess the old days are gone.

I'm close to being able to go back to Spiral Mountain. I still like the original Kazooie and Tooie, but this game is turning out pretty good. I've already freed all the Jinjos in Showdown Town too. Just need one more Minjo to find. And I wish I could read the words easily. Ah well, just gotta continue figuring out what to do when they show the challenge.

Why, Rare? This game could have been a breathtaking example of Rare at its best: a brilliant platformer with attention to detail, lots of variety, a few easter eggs, a good splash of humour, but mainly great gameplay. And this could have been even better than the previous two, with the graphical capablities of the Xbox 360. But no. They make the third Banjo Kazooie based around vehicles and how you put them together and, eventually, race them. Game first, spin-off LAST. I'm truly disappointed.

They made changes to the game THEY own, if it's theirs, I'm sure they can do what they want with it, and just because you don't like the vehicles aspect doesn't mean you should whine about it. There are plenty of people, myself included, who still love this game. If the series all of the sudden became a minigame collection, I'd STILL play it, JUST for the nostalgia. the Banjo Kazooie Series is STILL awesome, and a wonderful, charming series.
