Second Life Shadows

Hy all, I'm in a trouble. I get 5-6 FPS and it's a crap to play. In the Graphics tab, I can adjust the sliders, I set to low all the sliders and I still get only 5 FPS. I would want to run the game at a lower resolution, like 800x600, I run my desktop at 1280x1024, so the game runs at the desktop's one. I don't see anywhere the resolution button to change, where is it? At the others, it appears, but at me, no way.

is a nvidia GeForce 9300m GS good enough for SL to run on high detail?

I run it on ultra on geforce 8500

Computer has DirectX 10 so is Vista only? And hence shadows will not work in XP or Macs. Can anyone verify?

oh yes right ....hut....hum.... its a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT [Display adapter] hope this helps there are better ones now this is over a year old
