For those wondering about dry firing. NO he did not dry fire the PIN. The walther has a feature that when the gun is on safe, there is a blocker that tilts up keeping the hammer from hitting the pin. This is a great feature. It allows you to "dry fire" without striking the pin. Very nice weapon.
I recently purchased silimiar pistol except mine is black. I Have'nt even shot it yet, just getting more info before i take to shooting range. I was just curious ,I do know how to clean barrel with brush, But what type of oil is needed for insides / top blow back slide/ and other places needed to oil other than rifled barrel area? I have MP-3 aerosol oil at wally world but did'nt get any ammo from there. I got CCI mini mags from gun shop. And also can i first test out my pistol with blank rounds
Hello. This video is about a year or two old & I was just wondering how many rounds do you have thru it now & how do you like it? How is it working out for you? I was thinking about getting the 5" extended barrel myself. Just wanted & hoping you could supply me with some information - Thanks, Sincerely, JAMES.
I have a walther p22 and I gotta say it is compact and it doesnt jam at all but I also have a ruger mark II which is, in my opinion, way more beautiful, more reliable, a billion times as accurate and just as reliable as the walther p22...
My question is as follows. We are familiar with this gun yes. Are you though? Never dryfire a rim-fire pistol. On a better note this gun is a very good gun if you decide to carry a smaller caliber weapon. I own a 1911 45acp and I much prefer to carry and fire this one.
@DovisDC haha. ur jus sum punk bitch muthafuka who hiides behind a keyboard. cum touch base nikka face to face then we can see whoos fake u trik ass nikka..
I think Walther should make an extended slide with a longer barrel or something instead of that kinky compensator thing that has been known to cause problems in some guns. Just a thought.
Hello... eh . I'd like o buy one of these cool Walther pistols but I would want to buy it a soud supressor. I am unsure about if this model, which features a 5 in. barrel will be able to fit the "Outback II" Gemtech supressor
5" barrel will NOT make your slide crack! The slide does not even touch the compensator. Buy one and shoot it rather than posting what you've "heard".
@afterjizz101 i own a p22 when the safty is on you can dry fire all day there is a wide spot on the roller that prevents the hammer from contacting the fireing pin. and that rule applys to all guns not just rimfire you will break the pin on centerfire as well
Ya man that sucks that you have to go through all kinds of BS. when i lived in CA i wanted to buy a pistol but it was such a pain.. now i live in arizona and you can buy a gun so easily its not even funny.
I wince every time I see you dry fire your new gun. Dry firing is when you pull the trigger making the hammer fall down on the firing pin without having a round in the chamber. Which makes the firing pin over extend. It warps the pin and can lead to miss fires later. Just wanted to let you know it's not good for the gun.
yea is the recoil bad my dad bought me a Sig Mosquito 22lr i LOVE it it shoot's good i looked at the blue version but i thought it looked to much like a toy so if someone broke in i thought they wouldn't take me seriously
Wassup dude. well congrats on your walther. when I got mine the guy that sold it to me told me that they were schedule to go up in price and that they would only come with one mag. well it is really easy to shoot and very accurate. I hope you post some vids of you shooting it. 5 stars my friend.
Thanks dude! I love this gun! i have not yet fired it. I hope to make a first time shooting vid at the range in the next week or two. again thanks for watching!
Hi! You've got nice gun! But please pay attention - it's not very wise to make "dry shots" with .22lr rimfire guns - there is a serious risk to damage your pistol's firing pin because the pin can hit the edge of cartridge chamber.
You know what to do if you did not like the paint job you just pull out the spray paint lol

Definitely one of the best small caliber handguns. Also Sako, Glock & S&W have good small caliber pistols!

For some reason I'm critical about aesthetics of a gun. I can't stand a barrel extension or a really subcompact gun. 4" is just right :).
