I enjoyed the Word of Truth and the man of God. There is much chattering about nothing. I offer Matthew 22:37-45, John 10:1-18, Colossians 3:12-17, and 2nd Timothy 2, along with 1st Peter 3:8-17. The Scriptures clearly state and Jesus himself quoted David...."the Lord said unto my Lord sit at my right hand. It was my understanding that In the beginning of the chapter he speaks about the man being the head of the woman etc. He switches gears in the middle of the chpt and speaks about church ordinance, so why isn't the long hair the covering for the women instead of the sheets?

The Jewish custom was for all women to cover their heads with a veil when they went outside their homes. To appear in public without a veil was a sign of immodesty and lack of virtue. To appear in a worship service without a veil was UNTHINKABLE!!

@Kcobb3000 Some of the Corinthian Christian women had evidently appeared in worship without a veil on their heads. Perhaps they had understood Paul's emphasis on Christian freedom to mean that they no longer had to observe any of the old Jewish customs—including that of wearing a veil.
The effects of such a change in dress style had been disruptive to the worship services and Christian witness in Corinth. This led Paul to state that a woman should cover her head during the worship service.

i wish people learn to read the bible for all its worth coverings has nothing to do with head coverings it deals with married women (back when paul actually spoke it)having a sign of authority(husband) on them read the whole chapter people wake up women then wasn"t allowed to speak in the temple unles they had a sign of authority(husband or covering) on them

@kcmi89 Wow. I just watched the whole thing and all I can say is wow. This man is so unstable. One moment he's talking about head coverings, the next he's talking about sodomites and the next he's talking about Casey Anthony and Eddie Long. Its just crazy trying to keep up with what he's saying cause he's so unstable and he doesn't even just answer Lexi's questions without putting his personal opinion about everything that doesn't even have anything to do with the question she ask.
