@jesussetmefree1000 , When that fellows lamb died & he got in trouble a lot & grew to hate authority, that sure struck a cord with me. My dad did not drink but was very very stern with me & both parents whipped me a lot growing up. Granted, I was pretty stubborn, strong-willed, & probably needed it. I got in trouble more & more & grew to hate authority myself! I credit my mom praying for me for years & my wife being saved shortly after our marriage with my salvation!

@tashawn777 Yes there is a hell, but NDE (near death experience) studies have shown that hell is only a temporary, not eternal place. People have had direct conversations with God while in Hell, and he reveals that it is not permanent, and everyone will eventually rejoin him. In retrospect, hell is almost like a "time out".

Yes Hell is horrible, and it should be avoided, it's everything it's made out to be. It's a place void of God, and I would never want to go there.
