  • david koresh's favorite song!

  • Glad to see he's still going. Wow, his hair is white and mine just starting!

  • Only Neil. For Ever.

  • muito bom...very good,thkx

  • Neil! Thanks.

    A truly beautiful song.

  • listen -that was non electonic music- this was music as you hear- wonderful

  • neil young yesterday, today and tomorrow! I never get tired hearing your musics!

  • Neil is one of the best of all time! I grew up then and lived it!

  • im a filipino and i dont really totally understand the meaning of the song. but when i heard it from a mp3 cd i bought, i fell in love with it. sounds sad. And when my mom died, i used it as a song in her funeral... i still love it

  • @vheart1771 Hi there. I am also Pinoy vheart. The song came out late 60s, I was a tee nager, it was the era of the Vietnam War, the Cold War, grass, LSD, Hippies and Mother Nature getting haywire. if youre going to listen closely to the lyrics, its like someone "tripping" about a post-nuclear war-wasted Earth with human survivors being chosen by ETs to be transported to a new home in the sun. Yes I agree , the song is sad.

  • You just passed the audition...

as one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century.

  • Muito bom. Obrigado por postar.

    Very good. Thanks for posting.

  • i was born in 1970 and this song helped my mother thru hard times ! no wonder i think its one of the greatest songs ever cause i listened to while i was in her belly ! hell of a way to find out why you love a song so much !

  • "in the 21st century" :) nice touch

  • The original was By Neil Young, the same man in this vid.

    It is still outstanding today;

    Thanks for posting.

  • Originally recorded in 1970 on the album of the same name. Please do your research before calling plagiarism.

  • Great Canadian along with a rag tag bobtail lot called the band they produced 2 great songs that are a tapestry to my life;being The Weight and After The Goldrush.Supern just superb.

  • good thing he sounded like an old man when he was young too

  • Stunning. Best version ever.

  • The simple fact that so many great songs, Including those of neil young and many many more artists are disappearing from youtube while complete and utter garbage is still on here

  • Well Said

  • Neil is the BEST.

  • his voice sounds better than it ever did at this age.

  • he went down a storm at glastonbury this year, but imagine finishing with this...what a moment that would have been ! magical!

  • who needs crosbie stills and nash ??? superb

  • This song is just simplicity at its' best, utterly stunning. Neil Young is a real songs craftsman

  • Great Canadian.eh

  • I prefer his voice here than on on the original.

  • First song in my head this am. After a horrible nightmare. It won't go away.

I feel bad watching it. I'm an artist that don't sit well when my work is ripped off. I'll buy the cd, it's only right.

  • THE MAN.

  • best he ever done

  • I believe this sound like (is)a prophecy, still after alle these years when he wrote it. Many people receive visions, prophecies through dreams, this is one of them and a very important one!

    We're ready Neil !

  • this is the very definition of a haunting melody. in no way does any it compare to any song in any way. it stands the test of time and grows more beautiful with every passing day.

  • probablynotloie more like like problem idiot retartedhead your the one who is @#$!ing retarted

  • This sound NOTHING like let it be.

  • You're fucken retarded

  • I couldn't disagree more. Just because a song is played on the piano does not mean it is ripping off "Let it Be." Is "Brick" by Ben Folds Five ripping off Let it Be? This song sounds nothing like Let It Be, and is, if anything, much better!

  • I think yoiu are way out with the let it be comment, I can't hear the slightest resemblence. IT's a very unique song in it's own right

  • So, I take it you can't listen to any song played on a piano that was written after 1968, without thinking it's a "Let It Be" knock off.

  • that's a really lazy comparison

  • this isn't remotelyt like let it be. the rythym, the melody the lyrics are compoletely different and unique...so pathetic that you wish to try to destroy a legend with lies.

  • To Neil and to all of us this still has immense significance. Peace Brother.

  • wow this sounds so much like the orginal hios voice hasn't changed at all x

  • Mother nature is still on the run and Neil knows it brother....

  • didn't he used to say

"look at mother nature in the nine - teen - seven - ties..."

  • Yeah, the times they are a changing.... so are his lyrics, always up to date!

  • That's a Bob Dylan reference, not a Neil Young one.

  • a masterpeace.

  • A hauntingly beautiful song, this song is in my top ten of fav.songs

  • The Gold Rush is almost over (eco-nomics; exploitation of the environment), and what his friend said is, unfortunately, true; sending chosen ones with seeds to another planet can only be a dream, the Earth is all we have, and there really is no hope. A very sad, sad song.

  • I´m realy looking forward to the show on 23th of August

  • Ethereal song, sounds as good as he did Decades ago. Thanks for posting.

  • Shit , i like this song so mutch :Å

  • Get a life.

  • yes, he`s still got it. This song is so beautiful that I`m surprised that the lyrics still in my head after sooo many years and yet I can still sing-a-long.

  • Its so wonderfull, Hope to see him soon in the Netherlands. This song still makes me shiver after years of listening.

  • beautifull he's still got it
