I play that way too sometimes. Just pretend you have no spawn and the game feels so much more tense.Take your time to make wise decisions and chose safe spots to attack from. The only problem is that my team usually fails at playing the objective =/, Next thing you know I'm just rushing to arm the objective cause my team keeps playing deathmatch in an objective based match

God dammit, I hate how the FPS community considers "camping" to be some kind of evil thing. People have to realize that there's a difference between staying alive, which is what nick is doing, and camping. Staying alive helps your team, allows you to be available to take out enemies who are holding your team in a bottleneck, keeps someone defending a friendly objective, etc. Camping is when you stand in a strategically advantageous position for the sole purpose of boosting your stats. Learn it.

I try to do this at Grand Bazaar spawn on the Russian side, I do control on the marketplace and let my team know about foot traffic from D and E. It's very effective, and I actually spot like crazy, unlike so many other Recons...

I always try to survive! But I also have a high will to do what it takes to win (expect for doing lame shit). I was thinking the same thing sometimes too. I'd go to war for my country if someone wants to attack us. I like it here like it is now... But I wouldn't join the war just because my country wants to fight a little war for no real reason.

That's how I used to play hardcore in bc2. It's a lot more fun to stay alive and maybe not get as many kills, but at least you stay alive and there's more tension going on by trying to survive. It's more fun that way, and that is kinda the purpose of playing games in the first place.

@iYourAverageGamer When you go to server browser click down on your right anologue stick. From there you cant click on what map, number of players, hardcore etc. Just remember to unclick normal mode or whatever so everythings not mixed up.

when i get a new round, like kharg islang/caspian~ and i get in the jet, i try always to stay alive..i hate to get taken down-.-, may jet gameplay is noob or idk, but it's like "i have to" take the jet, bcs my teammates mostly would just fk it up(dont take tanks down/no spotting etc.) so ye, when i get in a jet, i always try to survive whatever it costs. :D
