  • That announcement for the Weymouth train made my night! I seriously thought for a moment that the announcement for it had stopped and another had started for a second train. LOL!

  • @Albanwinter (an add on to my original post) I think what makes it funnier is that the announcement for the first train is only calling at one station.

  • That weymouth service will take forever to complete lol

  • Good observation. The Weymouth train arrived on the opposite side of this platform.

  • WHERE THE CCAMERA IS FACING IS THE ANOTHER TRAIN

  • I thought the 2nd announcement would go on forever! lol

  • I know....hilarious!

  • By the time the announcement has finished the train would of already gone!

  • woking platfrom 2

  • It's not a real person, it's an automated system using various clips of a real person's voice (e.g. the stations).

  • Woking

  • which station wuz thiz taken dude?

  • "...Waring, Wool,..."

  • what's she saying at 1:15? haha

  • @ityoi Wareham, then Wool, etc..

  • are you even standing on platform 4 or dont they have seperate zones?

  • Excellent capture!!! I find that womans voice rather amusing because when she goes through all the stations it sounds rather disconnected if you know what i mean.

  • Nope....Woking.

  • Hmm. If I may ask, what station is this at, Clapham Junction?

  • Nope.....Woking; the garden spot of Surrey County!

  • Ah, interesting. I've never been on the platform at Woking so that's probably why I didn't recognize it. It seems larger in this video.

  • Hmmmm...not sure. I've never riden the train to the station.

  • omg that weymouth train calls at 35 stations!! how long does that take?? and how long does a "normal" one take

  • From Woking to Weymouth on that service it would take 3 hours and 19 minutes arriving in Weymouth at 10:19. The later service from Woking at 06:57 takes 2 hours 43 mins. The shortest time period you can do it in is 2 hours 13 minutes. This is according to National Rail Enquiries

  • Yeah.....but read through the other comments to this video. Evidently there are others who don't mind the ride (or the frequent stops)!

  • OMG That train going to weymouth calling at ALL stations would take forever!

  • I think this is the train with the most station stops. And, it is a 159, stopping at Hook, where I live. Is this train usually a 159 DMU?

  • Robert: Thank you for your comment. I don't know if this train is usually the 159 DMU or not. My apologies.

  • Thanks. Doesn't matter.

  • Yes, that train is normally on that service because it comes from Salisbury. The area around Salisbury is unelectrified. However, looking at the most recent timetable that train should now depart Woking at 06:47.

  • Ha! I bet it doesn't arrive at Waterloo 2 minutes earlier!

  • Probably not! Lol

  • In about 30 to 40 years time that will be history and a very rear video so keep hold of that because it will be Valuable

  • Little late to be traveling on a train aint it? XD

  • Love it!!!!!!! i love the london waterloo to weymouth line!!! :)

  • from london waterloo to weymouth it takes over three hours lol love it

  • Indeed, going to Weymouth does take forever!

  • Going to weymouth must take for ever!

  • Nice video, and I hope you enjoyed your time in wonking, and that you enjoyed your 159 bash. :)

  • No doubt!

  • calling at: every third lamppost to weymouth!
