At that point, Eli would only call if he had the queen or he could bluff that he did. So, I think that a check isn't a bad play. Her mistake wasn't not betting, it was analyzing the hand out loud so that Eli would know exactly what she has.

aces are not always the best hand, and he was right that time. six opponents, you gotta figure at least one of the other aces is out there in someone's hand and people tend to make more than one pair. with the flush draw out there and brunson betting the only other option would be to raise huge, in which case he might run into a set or two pair. tight, for sure, but the right play in that situation. wasika didn't place second in the wsopme cause he sucks.

Wasika's AA play was PERFECT in that situation, he lost the MINIMUM.
