I'm curious and/or perhaps dumb... I have always had the thought that all these mega structures... along with the concrete being poured daily, digging deep, building high... the Earth doesn't seem it should be about to sustain it's normalcy. These massively high structures in rotation as the Earth turns seemingly lop-sided, creating weight and strain. What major structures counterbalance? Maybe not now... just imagine if these structures continue at the same rate or faster. CAN'T BE GOOD!

But building this building and the others but not were the Twin towers once stood, is showing that we won't ever forget that day but we can move and build it better.

Why would they build such a big building in Mekkah? Wouldn't it overshadow the holy mosque there? It seems similar to building a huge skyscraper next to St Paul cathedral in Rome or next to the wailing wall or alquds mosque in Jerusalem.
