Its a shame his best physical years were lost in obscurity. He was at his physical best between 24-30 years old. He has slowed down considerably, but he is still winning and regardless of the wear and tear that his body is showing now, he is doing amazing things by beating Pacquiao twice, Barrera, Casamayor and now a young prime elite lightweight in Diaz. That's remarkable stuff people. Look at the Peden footage. Look how much faster he was back in the day. Only boxing politics have beaten him.
That fight won't happen. Marquez is all about countering, and all Hatton does is come forward. Hatton can't box, and you can't beat Juan Manuel unless you can box. im a englishman but marquez is my favourite fighter currently he has great heart,great technique,good power,can take a punch well,etc.Truely great fighter and it would be good to see him against amir khan and sparking him out!HAHA

Marquez beat Pacquiao twice. There is no logical dispute against it. Every major press group, every real fight fan around the world scored both fights for him. For people to use the knockdown as a reason for the crooked Pacquiao win is childish. The first fight Marquez won like 10 rounds. In the second fight he won 8 rounds. Only corruption has beaten Marquez. Like Whitaker, I think only time will truly beat Marquez.

Its a shame his best physical years were lost in obscurity. He was at his physical best between 24-30 years old. He has slowed down considerably, but he is still winning and regardless of the wear and tear that his body is showing now, he is doing amazing things by beating Pacquiao twice, Barrera, Casamayor and now a young prime elite lightweight in Diaz. That's remarkable stuff people. Look at the Peden footage. Look how much faster he was back in the day. Only boxing politics have beaten him.

That fight won't happen. Marquez is all about countering, and all Hatton does is come forward. Hatton can't box, and you can't beat Juan Manuel unless you can box. That fight would be five rounds of JMM hitting Hatton w/ counter rights hands until the towel was thrown in. I'm sure that fight would be equal to what Hatton vs Pacquiao will be. I would hope Hattons team wouldn't let it happen.

IMO the guy should have two wins over Pacquiao on his record. I'm not a Marquez fanboy I just appreciate his style. I'm a fan of both fighters, and I just feel Marquez should have at least one win over Pacman, and in my estimation 2.

I think the first fight of pac and marquez was a draw, second marquez but it didnt happen. But other than that both fights were exiting as hell. Juan Manuel Marquez will always be rememberd as one of the best. Thank You JMM.

This guy is a master, he is amazing to watch. He is the best of the three Mexican musketeers for sure. He and Pacman gotta do it one more time and make it an all time great trilogy.
