  • Dangerous

  • When I was going to school once, my mom was giving me a ride, and when I was walking in the door her van was hit by lightning and I was like FUCK! and I ran in lol

  • @MassChaos1337 rofl

  • Fake... You would be pulling over to the side of the road and what not

  • @MassChaos1337 I CAN'T BREATH!!!!! x'DDDDD

  • Pikachu lightning bolt!

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!

  • scary

  • and god said " ITS ONLY 50km/h JERKASS!"

  • what the heck

  • What I dont get about these vids are they just are filming at THAT EXACT MOMENT

  • @skkitlesboy123 Well....maybe the were taping for an hour and then cut out the "exact moment" and posted that....but I get your point

  • @egj1975 and i get ur point :)

  • Great Scott! 1.21 Jiggawatts?!

  • he hit pikachu

  • Fake!!!!!!!!!

  • @caseyr1992 that's mean.

  • god must hate you for speeding

  • Ya an just hapnd to get it in film just in time

  • Lightnings never strike cars! :)

  • "After youve been struck by lightning.. Theres thunder... The Maibatsu Thunder.."

  • i would crap myself if i was in that car

  • its marty!!!!

  • *poof*

  • Louis and Pepsi both failed. XD

  • The lightning sounds like a fart lol

  • @6Seraph6 LOL!

  • well actually he just hit a time traveler

  • that's not a thunder hitting a car, that chuck norris time traveling...

  • @Pepsimaniaco yupp its not thunder, its lightening. Pats on head*

  • @Louisthefish23 yup, it's not "lightening", its "lightning". *face palm*

  • U would think it would be a louder noise than that.

  • stupid windshield wipers in the way!!!

  • fake

  • its fake cause the car wouldve been blasted at least 10 feet back cause of the force

  • @pimo117 very incorrect. its more likely it hit very close to the car though.

  • @l8erh8er420 if u have seen a lightning strike u would know that it has so much force that u could sense it right away.

  • @pimo117 oh i dont doubt the power at all. just with the car moving being grounded an not anything be wrong with the car i.e it didn't stop or anything it seems it might have hit very close to it.

  • fake

  • If it went "into" the car, everyone inside would be toast.

  • @tripjet999 No necessarily. Why do you think most of the interior parts of a car are made from plastic/rubber? Not to mention, the tires are rubber to ground it.

  • this is couse by the shaped window

  • scary

  • he hit a time vortex thats all xD

  • Blunt reaction much?

  • its a fake no? u will be blindness after that for sure!

  • @Patrick2321 Not necessarily. Some people don't even know if their cars were just hit by lightning.

    People have survived lightning strikes.

But I do think this is fake....

  • lol

  • Some of you seems to think that a lightning in direct contact with anything is silent? Well, you're so wrong, that it's very hard to explain how wrong you are! The whole thunder-thing is lightings when they touches the air, so imagine the sound when the electricity reacts with anything else..

  • that was the professor trying to go back in time -he failed

  • so you magicly had your camera on at that second?? wow fake!!

  • The car went to lightspeed.

  • that was not thunder

  • "when this baby hits 88 miles per hour... your gonna see some serious shit"

  • @928baller lol

  • @928baller lmao

  • rubber tires maybe dissipated the electricity?? Not tryin to act smart or nothin, just kinda expected bigger Lol.

  • 68 people need to be hit by lightning.

  • fake!!! it would blow up the car

  • @godsofvideo

    No, it wouldn't.

  • @godsofvideo ur retarded

  • @godsofvideo no it wuldnt. are u stupid?

  • holllly shit! it like came into the car first and the the latent hit was sooo epic! nice vid!

  • @Canman426 what do you mean,(IT LIKE ) came into the car?it iether came into the car or it didn`t, the word LIKE means similar too..

  • fake

  • SHAZAM!

  • oh snap he just went back to the future

  • @yeekuza you sir win a million internetz

  • @yeekuza haha!

  • @yeekuza how do you go 'back' tot he future?

  • Videos a fake. freeze frame at 0:07 and you notice the lightning effect is on the wrong side of the windshield wipers and the lightning is all the way on dash instead of just the car.

  • @TSchott07 didn't you realize that water also reflects light?!?!?!? you are so dumb. take a look at the road. It's wet with water, there for it will reflect light from the road. Have you ever looked at yourself in the water when walking by a pond or a body of water. It's literally the same principle.

  • @F22RaptorAttack your the one that is dumb, myself along with my coworker who analyzes videos for the FBI looked at the video and you can clearly detect an overlay of the video. If you freeze it frame by frame you can see that the lightning strike in question is on top of the windshield wipers thus causing the wipers to be seen behind the lightning strike...

  • @TSchott07 well then the title should be Lighting Almost Strikes Car....am i right then?

  • @F22RaptorAttack Your right.

  • 39 STUPID FUCKING ASSHOLES and RETARDS LIKED aNiimez's comment..proof and vote if u agree....

  • YES U DO HERE THUNDER WITH THE LIGHTNING IF ITS THAT CLOSE

  • i have experienced a lightning flash at the same time as a clap of thunder for some reason besides cars are the safest place in a thunderstorm unless it spawns a tornado lol

  • that happened to me but hit the back of our car!

  • @LoneBlackWolf1 You that this is fake, right?

  • i hear a faint "what the FUUUCKK WAS THAT, AHHHHGGGGGHHH!!!!!!!"

  • The car is insulated by rubber tires, the electricity just continued on to the ground. It is not fake this kind of thing is more common than you might imagine. It is a giant metal object of course it is going to attract lightning, same thing happens with planes, ships, and metal barns.

  • @Zyworski the tires probably aint going to do allot for insulation, the lightning has just traveled 1000's of feet, the spark will just continue straight to the ground underneath the car

  • @Bobdog6t9 the car body acts as a Faraday cage and the current and voltage then flows around you, that's what keeps ya safe in there

  • @Bobdog6t9 Yeah, the rubber tires were an irrelevant fact, but I stand by everything else I said.

  • the lightning doesn't strike the car. It strikes further but the reflection on the road gives you the illusion it's longer , reaching the car.

  • thois is FAKE the wheels on the cars repells lightnin so yea its no that u randomly start recording wet street u cant see nothing and u get struck by a lightnin yea right

  • first of all your car is way to low to get hit by lightning! lightning hits the nearest tallest thing which would have the trees or light pole, or maybe building if there was any tall ones around.. like this comment bitches!!

  • @atwater63 are u stupid did u actually pass 3rd grade science or did ur parents bribe the teacher....yes lightning will usually out hit the tallest thing but about 35% of the time just strike the ground so u cant be to low to avoid it

  • so photo shoped aint even funny

  • the lightning only comes before the sound if its at a distance, if its close up it would be at the same time

  • You can see that almost all light go out on the lamp posts after strike. Strange

  • its fake when lighting hits it is extreamly bright the camera would not be still showing shit on the sides it would be all white

  • what is that sound? '.' you doesn't hear thunder at the same time with light

  • @aNiimez light is faster than the sound, i almost got hit by lightning and that happened, but thunder is hot and cold air slamming into eachother, the sound is just the lightning

  • @aNiimez if its that close it does, i have had a close encounter like that aaswell, and the sound came at the same time with the lightning.

  • @aNiimez Are you an american?

  • @aNiimez thats because usually lightning is far away and sound doesn't travel fast enough for u too hear it when it actually strikes

  • @aNiimez yes you hear when it hits you!

  • @aNiimez ya u have to count by 1000's and once you hear thunder say i got to 5000 that means it 5 miles away

  • @aNiimez If you are close enough you pretty much can, the delay will be nearly insignificant, it's not like the speed of sound is slow LOL

  • @aNiimez When the lightning is so close its instantaneous.

  • @aNiimez

Are you retarded? The time the thunder takes is proportional to the distance. The sound travels 1 mile in 5 seconds, more or less. The time it takes the sound of thunder to get to the mike from 3 feet away? Almost zero.

And what is with the "you doesn't"? Didn't you pay attention in 3rd grade grammar? You should have been on Jay Leno's show, with the stupid people on the street interviews.

  • @aNiimez

How could 43 people give this thumbs up? The guy doesn't know shit.

  • I can't believe you and the 41 people who liked this are serious. The only reason you don't hear the thunder for a while is because of the distances the sound must travel at a massively slower speed than the light. I'm not saying this video is real, but if the lightning hit right at his location, the sound would - to him - be basically instantaneous.

  • @koniginator thanks for explaning that for me. can you beleive how many idiots there are on this page?

  • @aNiimez Theres a loud Crack when lighting makes contact with the ground or an object. it happened to me twice today lol

  • @aNiimez When it hits you directly it does. If you survive that is....

  • @aNiimez Are you retarded? Light is just faster than sound, its when your far away when it takes a few seconds for you to hear it, when you 100-200 yards away you hear it instantly

  • maybe your stupid.

if your hearing place is the same like the hitting place of the lightning.... there is no time difference between seeing and hearing....

  • @aNiimez When it's that close you do.

  • @aNiimez You are an official retard. Literally. You hear thunder AFTER lightning strikes due to you being far. Sound TRAVELS. The closer you are, the quicker it will travel to you. Them being within like a few hundred feet, your basically going to hear it when it hits.

  • @aNiimez if its close you will

  • @aNiimez sound travels slower than lights thats why u hear it a bit late.. but not if its struck near you.....

  • @aNiimez The closer you are to the lightning strike the sooner you hear the thunder

  • @aNiimez wow 39 people are freakin retarded

  • @aNiimez you do when its 50 feet away!

  • @aNiimez it was so close that it didnt take but a second to hear it

  • @aNiimez but this car is just a few hundret feeds away from the camera. regarding the speed of sonic waves you hear the bang relatively at the same time as you see the strike.

  • @aNiimez OH YOU IDIOTS -.- That's how to calculate how far away it is. If you're next to the bolt (and since sound travel at aprox 480 KMPH) you hear it right away? Isn't that obvious?!

  • @aNiimez

so many people they don't know what they talk about an even more people who rate it with thumbs up.

maybe you should know that if the lightning hits next to you and not some thousand meters far away you'll hear it without time delay.

    speed of light ~ 300.000.000 m/s

speed of sound ~ 330-350 m/s that means approx 1 sec. time delay per kilometer.

if the lightning hits you, you will hear the sound at the same time.

  • @aNiimez thats because it is going very very fast. it is like an F16 flying by silently, but then about 2-4 seconds later, you hear the noise it makes

  • @aNiimez well, it was right in front of them

  • @aNiimez if it's close, yes you do. dur

  • @aNiimez It makes noise when it hits the car

  • @aNiimez You do hear it when it is up close. :/

  • @aNiimez You do if you're that close to the lightning bolt.

  • @aNiimez umm. you do. I think you're missing the fact that there's no distance involved.

  • @aNiimez he farted ,thats his own way for reacting against something scary

  • @aNiimez sound is last to hear when u see the thunder

  • @TheSasukeKing1 one can not see thunder...

  • @aNiimez Not all lightning creates thunder. I had a strike hit a power pole near me and it hardly made a sound

  • @aNiimez the doors and everything are closed

  • @aNiimez You see the lightning and hear the thunder at the same time because the strike was so close to the camera. When there is a distance of miles, light travels much faster than sound so you see the lightning before you hear the thunder.

  • @aNiimez you do when your that close

  • @aNiimez light travels faster than sound. so you get a delayed effect. :)

  • @aNiimez when its that close you do

  • did it damage the paintwork?

  • I don't think cars are able to just take a lightning strike like a plane. It's still cool though.

  • @Randomness84726 cars can take lightning *better* than a plane, by a lot.

  • @svilack are you sure? With a plane, it acts like noothing happens and it doesn't leave a mark.

  • @MrBioluminescence it isn't fake. I have filmed lightning thousands of times. This happens. I now can ALWAYS tell a fake strike from a real one.

  • @MrBioluminescence umm, because it gets publicity for the video. Unless he says its his own, it is ok. Now go... shine yourself out in a cave glowdude.

  • At 006, u can see the electromagnetic pulse b4 the strike. at 0:08, u cansee a positive streamer jump from the car.

  • i think it hit that light pole not the car, the light was out after it hit too

  • idk if this is real but my grandmothers car was struck by lightning before. scared the shit out of me.

  • dude just think, why would someone be driving and just decide to pull out their camera

  • @AngryllLeprekhan I have pulled my camera out many times just to film a storm..

  • @MrBioluminescence i belive it was @"Mrbioluminescence"

    does that explain?

and i was pointing it at the fact thats not fake thats been around america for over 6 years

    KTHXBAI

  • @MrBioluminescence oh yah its raining and photoshopped all the way... woooooh its a game that thier keeping away from the public because the opinions on this game would be called its to fake to be true wahhh wahh

dude 7-13 year old child please dont comment on these videos even if this is stolen from a professional storm chaser so shut the fuck up and stop trying to get attention

  • thats what happens when you run a red light god zaps you!

  • Soo Badly Fakeeee!!

    1. No Big boom.

    2. WTF, you are filmin' and drivin' your car, and lightning hits it. You keep drivin'

    3. The lightning should be a lot moree.... light.

__if someone thinks it's not fake, tell me. ;)__

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Car is like a Faraday cage... A Faraday cage is best understood as an approximation to an ideal hollow conductor. Externally applied electric fields produce forces on the charge carriers (usually electrons) within the conductor, generating a current that rearranges the charges. Once the charges have rearranged so as to cancel the applied field inside, the current stops.

  • if it really hit the car the car would die

  • Really no comment. Atleast stop the car or say wow how magical

  • well... this must be fake, because you wouldnt expect to just sit in the car and not say anything... you wouldnt be that relaxed would you, and also filming driving along a road??

  • ah thats nothing....one time when i was up in the sierras i saw a tree about 15 feet away get struck by lightning. It felt like a granade going off, i literally felt the shockwave

  • why would you just randomly have your camera on then? did you know lightning was gonna hit your car?

  • Fake....even in a car with windows rolled up, if lightning hits even a foot in front off you there is a ear splitting crack.

  • @mamabear520 I would think there would be an ear splitting crack if you were anywhere within a mile of a bolt.

  • yeah it hit the ground probably a foot ahead of the car, but he was driving so fast it probably ended just as he drove over the spot

if a lightning bolt his a car, that car would be an expensive brick

  • Man, dont you just hate it, when you HAPPEN to be carrying a video camera, and your car gets struck by lightning?

  • @59Ballons do that happens to me everyday lol I'm usless without my video camera

  • awesome

  • marty and doc emmet brown goes to 1885.

  • doc emmet brown goes to 1885.

  • its not fake because when the lightning hit the car the street lights went out

  • Did anyone else notice that most of the street lights went out when it hit? Must have zapped the power lines too.

  • If it's a real lighting, where is the Boommmmmm!!!!??? bastard

  • @destruktivtv you didnt hear the boom?

  • @destruktivtv maybe you should turn your speakers on?

  • that looks like special effects used on a program i recently downloaded !!

  • My car was hit by lighting an it was like burst of heat an feeling a little tiggly an thats about it but really didnt do much to the car but slight burn mark!! on the top right of the roof of the car ! but all i really remember it being hot !!

  • @shylo1981 well that's really what lightiing/electricity does, it heats up.

  • not only when it happens I would shit my pants but also when I go and wath my hood!!! it shows a brown spot!!! "AH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • the window and car woulda blew up

  • @jj1x0 lol are you some retarded hillbilly or something you are so stupid "the window and car woulda blew up" haha no it wouldnt of you fucking retarded inbred!!
