I've commented on this wonderful montage and song combination previously ,but as I've probably watched it another 30 times since then ,I just had to reiterate just how good it is.Deserves a wider viewing on TV .
EVERY single photo tells an individual story and each viewing induces tears and pride in me at my London upbringing and heritage.
I'm a London boy and this is one of my favourite things ever. Not just the tune (Joe you were a genius) but whoever put this video together deserves a hearty slap on the back. It's beautiful. It reminds me of conversations with my late dad.
any time i come on youtube i always listen to this it reminds me of my youth and i think better times, happier times, even with all of the political correctness nowadays i think people were nicer to each other .its hard even to think of the word hate let alone feel it .joe strummer a man of great passion and pressence
Ahh The Crack woz good @ Cricklewood, as woz the "Bombers", the Brown & Clears wern't bad either for that matter!....................Ah my youth, how sweet............!;o)
There was gangs and fights but never racism. I've been an Anarchist and antiracist all my life, but thanks to Joe I realise I was never underprivilged. There wasn't much money but growing up between willesden and cricklewood was the most privilged environment imaginable. I never really thought of it like that before. .
I was born and raised in Cricklewood., In the sixties when I was a teen it was rough, working class, and in our street of about sixty homes or thirty terraced house (upstairs one family downstairs another) there were Poles, Irish, Spanish, West Indians, Mauritians, English (that was us :-) French, Indian, Scotch - you name it.
this is a great tune, brings a tear to my eye ,i live in willesden and work in cricklewood so know it well, some lovely images makes you sad and glad at the same time! well done . viva joe

Truly special, meditative video montage of London's Temporal Contrasts.
This work makes London seem Whole & Special. -A rare achievement.
The whole world deserves to enjoy this beautiful video.
-And Joe Strummer's beautiful, hypnotic song.
Joe Strummer & his unwritten songs left this world forever in 2002 AD. -Too soon.
His fans miss him.
