Bullshit, what is weight of your car? 1300kg? Impossible to acceleration like that with only 280hp dude! Same like 8-10l on 100km ... Maybe u have more mods and u dont know about it ^^
I have a 94 JDM Silvia S14 with the SR20DET, Stock JDM spec make 217BHP, European spec make 194BHP. I'm running 1.5 bar using a chipped ECU. JDM spec have a GT2560R turbo from the factory. This turbo can run 1.5 bar a front mount is necessary to keep inlet temp's down. The car also has- Apexi Power intake Apexi Duel exhaust system Enlarged turbo elbow Tubular manifold aka header Blitz SBC ID Blitz Super Sound BOV. Stock ECU is programmed to fuel cut around 7-10 psi dependant on model.

But I also wonder, how the stock chip can handle the setup. It's dangerous, if the air/fuel ratio is incorrect! The chip HELPS the ECU to "understand" the new setup...

@obelixdj at 1 bar on a healthy engine you'd be arround 280 on the stock ECU, verry possible. That's what makes these cars so fun; they don't weigh jack, with just the basic bolt ons like exhaust, intake, fmic and fuelpump you can have a properly quick rwd car and it doesn't cost that much at all too! For less money then a new Polo you could be bugging the hell out of some pretty expensive exotics. Its rumoured that if you drive it off boost it has decent fuel economy too, that's less fun though
in Europe we usually do not put chips into the cars because a finished chip can not be adapted to the individual setup, therefore we make a balancing (mapping) on the dyno
IS your clutch holding the power? I'm at sort of same spec, fmic, 3 inch elbow back, blitz ebc and walbro fuelpump. Clutch is slipping like mad if I run more then 0,7 bar.
