  • Que buen tema de los 80's caraxo!!!

  • excelente...

  • your voice lives in my head...... thaks friendsfrom lima -peru

  • MUCHAS GRAXIAS..... , LA MUSICA ES EL IDIOMA UNIVERSAL...NO TIENE LIMITES DE TIEMPO NI ESPACIO.DESDE PERU ABRAZOS ,NAKED EYES VIVIRAS ETERNAMENTE .................

  • 80's: shit's fashion but cartoons and music really good!!!!

  • love you 80's...please come back!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if you are watching and commenting on this while on a treadmill, like me!!!

  • muy nuena canciónnnnnnnnnnn cada vez que la escucho me pongo a bailarrrrrrr

  • exquisito bocado para mis oidos, es la escencia del new wave.

  • Low budget videos are the best. Remember how boring the expensive late 80's videos were? At this time the art form was fresh and vibrant. It was art. Ideas were what drove the creative process, not $. I wouldn't be surprised if the video directors were hired straight out of university.

  • The name of the video poster is FTW!

  • Naked eyes always had some of the best synth production out there.

  • @FeelGood30 - Very much so...very tasteful synth sounds (or Fairlight, if you don't want to call them "synth") for its time. Too bad Rob passed away at such an early age.

  • one of the best 80's new wave bands!!!

  • epic................

  • The Starlight revolutionized the 80's music industry.

  • RIP Rob. I actually think you were quite cute - and an awesome keyboard player.

  • their bassist is insane

  • ha ha @ 3:26

  • ……. Excellent choice in music, tompettytookmy bong … Thanks for uploading this Naked Eyes gem … Namasté ~ (•8-D

  • best nue wAVE band out there at that time besides the Cure

  • I honestly think this song is WAY BETTER than other 2 songs being played on radio stations so frrequently

  • @molonlave2010 probably promises promises, then this, then everybody wants to rule the world

  • Cool, love the Nekkid Eyes, and I don't think I ever saw this video before. :)

  • ......And they're starting to drive me crazy!

  • Brilliant synth pop .. I was a headbanger in the 80s but the sequencing and composition of this duo is just outstanding. This kind of music seems to have disappeared in the American market. It seems that anything with integrity is being ignored by the Hollywood types ...

  • @SgtRohan

That's because Hollywood and integrity are antithetical to each other! Those freaks in Hollyweird are good at nothing but distorting reality and presenting 'their' version of life, which is not mine. Those freaks are waging a form of psychological warfare on the populace, IMHO.

They're trying (and succeeding) to reduce us all into brute beasts without conscience or morals. They want to make people into 'their' image, which is the lowest common denominator of humanity. Slaves!

  • @n8tureboy So true!

  • @pmsan29

    Thanks!

  • Excelente Música, Siempre los escuchabamos en Lima ´90´s

  • I remember this topic, and it still continues liking alive the years 80.

  • The 80s was such a good time for music, when music did not really have any color, good music was good music.

  • run in place!! Run in place!!! LOL!! But yes, huge Naked Eyes fan!!!

  • Wow, this is my fav group of the 80's. If I were to go to a deserted island, I would take this album "burning bridges" with me. Thanks a million for posting this.

  • fabulosos naked eyes muy buen tema .

  • always one of my favorite songs off that album.. and which was highly under-rated since all the non-single cuts were 10x better than the 2 singles.

  • Naked Eyes were Pete Byrne who's the singer and Rob Fisher The Keyboard Player who sadly passed away in 1999 at the age of 42. Pete still Tours with a whole Band.

  • many young artists nowadays stole their electro bassline

  • @kinmanyuen yeah and it's not even true electro.

  • los esperamos en Perú... a un gran grupo musical: neked eyes.

  • Me too...the voices. burns up my mind...breaks my heart when I'm with you. telling me to beware... of you? yes you.

  • @ernestoolivero

    Ya I totally agree!!!

  • at first i thought, "hey this could easily pass for some modern new wave" and then I heard the slap bass.

i have this cassette in my car right now =]

  • Thats funny about the slap bass. Definitely an 80's staple.

You know I think the bassist from Duran Duran still does the same slap bass licks!

  • Typical of 80's videos--the songs have nothing to do with the visuals, and are rather strange...still, this song is COOOL!!80's synth music will never die! Thanks for sharing this to us.

  • I ♥ the 80's music!

what an odd 3:4 ratio of the video.

  • I dont know why Im feeling lost

    its only love

I give you everything I can

    its not enough

    damn....

    the best music

  • brilliant!

  • SUPERB!

  • I am a DJ and I mixed this song with LL Cool J "I'm That Type Of Guy." Matches perfectly.

  • Where are you all finding these classic videos, I have loved Naked Eyes for soooo long and never seen this video nor the Promises videos and this is my very first time seeing. I guess the USA keeps us from seeing much of anything outside the states.

  • I don't think this was released as a single outside of the UK as I don't remember this but do remember their other singles (Promises Promises, Always something there to remind me, What in the name of love). There were lots of British bands and singers in the 80s that found success in North America at the time - more so then nowadays.
