Has your parish priest been arrested yet? Ours got arrested last night! Seems he was abusing the altar boys for years, and someone finally had the courage to turn him in. We are ND.
I know it's a little late to answer this now, but for next year's reference...Trumpets in the dome takes place on Friday at 4pm and on Saturday probably 55-60 minutes before gametime (step-off from the dome is supposed to happen 45 min before gametime).
Actually, I lied. It used to be at 4pm when marchout was at 4:30...but with the marchout being moved back to 5pm on Fridays (due to the pep rallies being moved to the Irish Green), trumpets in the dome would have been at 4:30.
Just to answer a few questions....The drummer's circle that you see in this video is midnight drummer's circle in front of the Dome - There's also a drummer's circle in front of Bond Hall after Concert on the Steps; both of these happen every home football weekend. Also, the song that starts at 1:51 is Mortal Combat, but it's called "Techno"
Great performance by band. Unfortunately, the audience ruins it by adding the phrase "suck it" opponent. This phrase is juvenile and embarrassing. Furthermore, it simply does not occur in the official words of the cheer itself. I wish the student body would grow up a bit and be more considerate of others, especially in the stadium during the game, who don't want to hear such stupid comments.

That's "Mortal Combat", most bands have the entire band play that song. However, since the drumline at Notre Dame is the best drumline in the land, they play it themselves, they don't need trumpets to help them!
I am an alumni from Purdue and regardless of our rivalery I'll have to say this is cool as shit. Your drum line is tight. To bad they are better then your football team this year.
my first ND game this was the first thing i got to see, as a 7 year old it was amazing

Special school for sure, you can't talk about college football without bringing up notre dame.
notre dame is college football. If it were not for notre dame, college football would not be where it is today.

Midnight Drummers? It sounds like something that the Irish Catholics would use to lure the altar boys back to the rectory.

I got to 1 game every year but I havent heard about this. When do they do it, is it before every home game? And is it always at midnight?
Tjuicebtch 4 years ago
yeah, the night before every home game at midnight outside the Main Building. Be early if you want to see anything, it gets pretty crowded.
