  • No rev?

  • It's been like that since the day I picked it up. I'm not sure what it is, but it always starts so no complaints.

  • The '07 seemed hard to start. Is that a side effect of putting on Leo's?

  • @Trekker1801

This is an old comment, but whatever. No, aftermarket exhausts won't have any effect on starting. There are about a dozen things that can affect starting, and a new exhaust (assuming it isn't outright clogged" isn't anywhere near the list.

  • Unfortunately the video camera's microphone does it no justice. The Leos do sound nice, but the Yosh have a much more meatier growl to them. The Leos say: hey, here comes a bad-ass vtwin; the Yosh's say: here comes a god among sportbikes.

Both bikes in this video are/were mine. The one with the Yosh's is my old SV1000s (2005) and the one with the Leos is my current one (2007). So, I'm fairly well acquainted with both. :D

  • The Leo sounds better i think. Lot more deeper sound.

  • Nice V4 sound. Just add another 2 Svs and then I'm happy man :)

  • The left one is that with Leo... sure...

  • which one has which exhaust? I have a 03 SV1000s and I am looking for a good loud, raspy set of pipes

  • The one on the left is a 2007 SV1K with Leo's. The one on the right is a 2005 with Yosh titanium tri-ovals. The Leo's really don't do any justice until you're on the gas, but the Yosh's are very very throaty.

  • The cameras mic doesn't do the exhaust justice.
