  • That jacket of Jerry's just rocks!

  • Boy ladies back in those days were good looking.

  • I was two through 12 years old in the fifties. Childhood was fabulous. The hippy sixties destroyed it all. Or maybe it was just that sad thing called growing up.

  • everywhere they go in this video they find girls.nobody cares about them.

  • Super die zwei ... wenn ich nur endlich den Film auf DVD hätte ... genial !!!

  • Yeah the best of times were the 40s and 50s definitely - really funny comedy without being offensive, just good clean fun - less people around and simpler life style.

  • What a time it was and what a time they were in and what was so great about that time was they made it perfect and sadly there'll never be anyone else like them

  • TERRIFIC!!

  • you know Bollywood could never beat this how ever much they dance or sing

  • I can't agree more. This is just TERRIFIC.

  • I want a bright red 1956 Chrysler New Yorker convertible for Christmas.

  • I want the year 1956 itself for Christmas. :-) Actually, I want the entire 1950s decade.

  • Here! Here! I want Australia, the US...indeed the whole of the Western world to go back to that lovely decade. No more smut, no dumb reality tv, no more bad-mouthing kids. My mother and father still alive... Ah! The memories.

  • Dean Martin *swoon*

  • Actually, my fave scene is the rare opening where Jerry portrays movie-goers and plays different roles, including a Frenchman who, while smooching a French dame down her neck and arm, ends up kissing his own arm.

  • My favorite segment from Hollywood or Bust!

Apparently, in the 1950s the countryside (this clip makes one want to live there during the 50s) and farms were filled with nothing but gorgeous young females, all wearing short shorts. :-)

Actually, this is part of the reason why I love the Lewis & Martin films. They're a microcosm of the 1950s. A sort of time capsule. The Martin & Lewis films highlight the clothes, the cars, the music, the hairstyles, the culture, etc., of that time in the 50s.

  • I haven't been born yet at the 50's, but it seems the world was much more civilized than todays. The songs were also less offensive than nowadays.

  • @bmovies60 So true, i agree 100% . A complete sociological study could be made watching Jerry and Dean films and examining its content!

  • I love this song! The voice of Jerry is great, I don't like Dean. At 2:28, Jerry was too funny.. ^_^

  • Are you deaf or what? Dino was one of the greatest singers in the world.

  • i agree jerry's great in this clip and i'm not much of a dean martin fan either

  • Ahhh, my favorite comic guys, and Jerry singing too, thanks for psoting this clip.

  • Pure enjoyment from the greatest show business team ever!

How did they keep that big dog from messing up the scene?
