its ironic because steamboat willie was the animated feature that helped mickey mouse reach stardom and become an eminent archetype but it was not the first to be shown because galloping gaucho was released first and plane crazy (distributed after steamboat willie) but it is a fond one and ask anyone and they will credit this as being the most illustrious in his dynamic and flamboyantly diversified repertoire
