  • Can't wait to see this old girl back up and running in spring! Love Pacifics! Fantastic vid!

  • they should've used her in polar express.

  • why does 425 have 2 different wheel styles on her pilot truck? it's very odd that she has that.

  • @jedi725 From what I hear, she fell into the turntable a while back and that's why.

  • They really work that locomotive! That's a pretty long train! ...not that I have a problem with it, but they must have a steam shop comparable to that of Strasburg.

  • sad to hear that Reading & Northern has filed a petition to discontinue service from Leesport to Hamburg...that pretty much wipes out the old Blue Mountain & Northern route...

  • Great. A brilliant blue locomotive

  • she is the most beutiful 4-6-2 EVER.

  • Steamtown's CP 2317 ain't bad lookin either!

  • Will 2102 run again.

  • @bnsf261 There arent any plans yet.

  • I can't believe I didn't COMPLIMENT this video. Very well done. Isn't Rauschs after Molino going towards Tamaqua? Well anyway, this was well done. That RDG 6 doesn't sound too bad. Perhaps a cleaning is in order? You know what they say... every RDG 6 was made to sound different.

  • reading and northern will think of restoring the Reading 4-8-4 2102

  • outstanding video and a wonderful looking and sounding train. 5 stars!!!

  • (Aside from all this bickering)

Aside from some slight tripod movements, you put together a very nice production Joe. Keep it up, don't let anyone (especially Len) put you down.

  • Exellent video, and you don`t needed a HD camera.(For Youtube of course)

    Outstanding*****

  • Great video Joe! Love the pan at Molino.

  • Excellent video as always. Not one of the better Reading 6-chimes we've had on the engine though. Sorry!

  • Chris I thought Tyler's whistle sounded very nice. It's good to hear all the different Reading G's each one has their own sound.

    Len.

  • Nice video Joe, Only thing I thought you would had more locations, There is one more crossing after Millers Crossing it's called Rauschs, that where they stop the train. Well maybe you'll get that one next time. Keep going your doing well, See you out at the tracks.

    Len.

  • Joe was at Rauschs, it just comes down to quality over quantity Len. Your getting better with your editing too Len; at least the part I was awake for..... See you out at the tracks! Kyle

  • Kyle, I was at Rauschs each time 425 was out that there , I didn't see Joe once. And I'm not picking his video apart I said he did a good job, I only was letting him know about the crossing. Don't get Rude with me, that wasn't called for. I like to have Quantity of location, It makes the video so much more.

    Len.

  • You were there each time? Even for the back up moves? Talk about repetetive!

I only included in this video what I believe to be the better footage I shot during the day. I'd rather not dull the video down with extra un-needed shots that only serve to make the video longer and more boring than it already is.

  • OMG,The only one that is so boring is you Joe, You are so spoiled you stink! I was with Len each time we were at Rauschs, I never saw you either. If you feel that R&N is so boring, why even come? To an event, that you were not invited too. I have my ticket bought already for the 25th. of October I was the first ticket sold. That cost $200.00 each persons. I can't wait.

    Eric Boyer

  • OK Eric Calm down. I think what Joe is saying here is that he got plenty of shots, but felt that to make his production better, he would only show the ones he felt were outstanding. Any videographer will do this, Shoot more than what you need and only use the best. There is a difference between spoiled and talented, Joe is Talented. People that tend to bitch and complain are spoiled.

  • Ok Eric, hold on here. I was not implying you were spoiled at all. So whats the big deal with using an HD camera? FYI in 2009, EVERYTHING HAS TO BE HD for broadcasting. I shoot in HD, does that make me spoiled? Ever stop and think that MAYBE I paid for the camera myself, as well as Fusco? Fusco has worked hard to get to the point where he is now. Listen, sometimes location doesnt mater, its what is being shot. Relax dude, everyone is taking this shit way to far now.

  • I feel you all should calm down, because your all Spoiled brats. Hell I been taking video since video came out in the early 1980's. I agree "everyone is taking this shit way to far now" your all competing for who's the best in taking video. Well I don't think any of you have that quality yet. The one person that might come even close would be Len for he has been doing it for a very long time. But I can see most out here don't like Len for some reason or not. to be continue.

  • But I can see most out here don't like Len for some reason or not. I feel the next time you go out to rail fan you should think about having fun doing it, and not to feel your better then some one else.

  • Just I personialy dont like being imposterd by some one, it's not fun by far.

  • Call me crazy, but I think everybody will back me up on this one, that over said time Mr. Shaner has been in the video-photography business, his quality has decreased drastically. His current workmanship is not something that ought to be judged by in the least.

  • I'm sorry, but I'm better than Len at video prodution (and safe to say that pretty much everyone else is better than Len at this point).

  • Agreed 100%.

  • Well i was there and did happen to see Joe, so len and Eric I dont know were you were.

The 425 does get boring as does most things after you see them a lot. So its not joe by far.

  • Boy, 425 sure is a nice engine! Great video!

  • Great video Joe, these shots seam very familiar!

  • short, but supurb vid!

  • good video joe, between the blue and gold of "Big Blue" and the red coaches. it was pretty colorful train.
