Thread Tradition was a rare miss for Aaron. The fabric they use is not as high quality as a brand name off the rack shirt, for one. Second, the shirts are cut like women's shirts. They have this weird tapering on the sides that is not flattering at all to a man's figure. The first thing my gf said when she saw it was "is that a girls shirt?". Third, and most egregious, their customer service blows. It took them 3.5 weeks to get my first shirt and it takes days for them to respond to emails.

Do not take any advice here serious. This guys fashion is outdated.

Black shoes? no... unless you're going to a funeral or a wedding you do not want to own a black shoe... it looks horrible with your "non distressed denim". You would need either some sort of shade of brown like the italians do it ... or a nude color. Then cuff up your slim RAW jeans and you will will look great!

Ya know, Even though it's going to cost an arm and a leg. Your better off investing in a high end italian designer shirt, like Armani,Gucci or Dolce&Gabbana,D&G shirt and the reason is cause it's a much better shirt than anything Arron can recommend, It'll fit better, look better and the fabric is incredibly comfortable and soft. You'll take better care of your shirt if you spent $400-700.00 for it than you would if you spent $50 that needs replacing in 2 seasons.

@TheeCoolOne I disagree with the Express shirts. I have worn them for years and can honestly say, they are overpriced for what you are getting. While they do typically fit better than most button-downs (including DKNY, CK, etc.), they are a pain in the ass to iron. They also don't feel as rich or comfortable as others. If you are fortunate to live in NY or nearby, stop by UNIQLO. Their shirts go for $35 each and are made very well and cut out a lot of fabric around the waist.

@tazzpower If you have a very narrow face and/or slender body type, go with a spread collar, as this will make you appear wider and more built. However, if you have a wide face or are more heavily built, go with a narrow collar as it will make you appear slimmer. Also, with a spread collar, be sure to use a full windsor knot if you are going to wear a tie with it, just so it fills out the gap real well. For cuffs, french cuffs are considered more formal, whereas the others are more casual.
