have one, it is very good at day light, but indoors is just crappy, you will see how artifacts fills in all the screen ,like mosquito noise and the image start to look slow motion, I am happy with this camera when in day light

i got the more recent HDR-UX20, which has many of the same features, except it includes 8 GB internal flash memory. good camcorder.

im kind of new to dvd camcorders...

scenario:

i storage the video i am recording in (Memory s.d., Memory S.P.D. or 8cm DVD)

-- i can finalize the mini dvd and play it in my dvd. or use a rw mini dvd(or msd,mspd)...connect a dvd bruner to the camcorder and burn a regular dvd(cheap) then play it in my dvdplayer...

is this possible? with this camcorder?

it is f***kin hard I can't open these videos on the computer need higher VGA card, can't play them with any normal video player v. weired extentions. need huge memory. can't convert them to any other extens. easily. need special DVD players. go and buy Sony DCR-SR220 instaed don't be like me I just spend 1000$ for nothing

with the Sony Media Import, it's on your CD, then you can also convert it from M2TS to .MPEG
