im not a christian n i hate religion n being in a family of full christians, but man tht doesnt stop me from liking christian bands n their kwl songs, man this is awesome
i dont get why its called christian metal. im not christian and i like it. its a song, get over it. also, its a sin to kill yourself in christianity so uh idk how its even close to one.
@bagon98 I honestly hate christians, but the song isnt about killing ones self. Its about being in the darkesrt hour and living through it, and learning to apreciate the outcome. Done and done
@mabivids12 one of the lyrics are "..to end it all"..that means suicide. "..end of my rope..My soul so cold" he hung himself im pretty sure that means. "..hate of life around my neck" again hung himself. its mostly about suicide temptations and death. ur just reading between the lines
@mabivids12 maybe they dont want u to and just read wats there. u cant expect to read everything like that or ull end up being wrong about everything. thats like saying lady gaga is a good dancer when she says "disco stick" when she really just wants to fuck.
killer solo. to me this is a spiritual warfare song no more lust, no more cursing, no more prioritizing myself ahead of others, lucifer has no place here i gotta stand bold in witnessing what i've been commissioned to \m/
this song would've been so awesome if this guy were actually singing it instead of growl/whispering -____- you can actually feel the melody asking to be sung, so frustrating
@spiderbot21 yeah the song would have been amazing if you could make out the words. like ive memoirsed them by now but when i first herd it i got up in class and was like head banging to the guitar part then when he started singing i was like wait whats he saying? but its steal a beast song
@bloodyleech The song 'I Bury You' is from the album 'Immune'. It can be bought from iTunes, Amazon, or at Solid State Records' website (solidstaterecords(dot)com/releases/155/Immune)
""This is my chance to say i love you. at the end of my rope" what that means is we as humans have a tendency to fall away and without God we are miserable and sometimes we are so stubborn that its only when we reach the end of our rope we decide to "end it all" by coming back to God not suicide"
wow sweet video... looked low budget but definitely not in a corny way... the reference to the holocaust near the end was a good touch... kind of brought the whole song together. This is my first Soul embraced song definitely gonna need to look up more
@ROFLBOB24 they dont necessarily have to sing christian songs...... its just that all of the members have admitted to being christian. idk, and it depends on how you look at it......."decomposing while im breathing" could regard jesus on the cross....... hes alive but hes pretty much decomposing since theres not much of any life left in him
@Butterfinger109 This band is definitely christian. But who says that every single one of their lyrics has to be christian? I mean, to me it sounds more like a life story, him struggling, not so much as literal as Jesus being on the cross.
@ROFLBOB24 Yeah dude, it is more on the bleak side. Back in the day when Zao was a Christian band, their music dealt with some dark themes as well. I guess it's indicative of the depression and loneliness that is rampant in our world. Either you become overmedicated and hollow, or make a way through it. In all of it, Grace covers us, but that certainly doesn't guarantee lighthearted and happy days. Through the darkness comes a light, and that is also what the album as a whole is saying.
@GuitariousMaximus Not necessarily, but the former themes that were inherently about redemption are gone, and replaced by generic lyrics that are typical of death metal bands. I guess they may sell more records that way, or not. Who cares anymore about that. It is all different.
@Butterfinger109 Actually, it's a scientific fact that we decompose while we're living. That's what they're talking about here. @ROFLBOB24 if you look up their song "My Tourniquet," you'll see how, while they still use some dark themes, they definitely show themselves being Christians. There are other songs that have more Christian themes, especially, on this same album, the songs "Everything Reminds Me Of You," and "Judas I've Become."
@ROFLBOB24 If you can't say you haven't been driven to the edge to contemplate suicide because of your open-minded perspective of Satan's Kingdom(i.e. Earth), or being raped of your entity of Love through malevolence of others/society, you're not a True Biblical Christian.
This "christian" metalhead thing is so stupid, people only listen to bands that are christian, and still call themselves metalheads, its like they are listening to some kickass band and they like them, but then discover they are not christian and they hate them.
A real metalhead listens to anything, whatever christian, satanic or hindu...
@SuperMefisto6666 If you are truly an atheist, why do you spend so much time on something you don't even believe in? Unless.... you do believe in God.......Hmmmm.....
@SuperMefisto6666 I am not referring to your taste in music, I am referring to the fact that you spend so much time trying to disprove something that you don't even believe in.
@SuperMefisto6666 exactly when u listen to music u shouldnt think about the religion w/e u think it is.. and to everybody this song isnt catholic or christian or w/e just the band is now stop bitching about it
@ROFLBOB24 wow that's an ignorant statement, why do you say that?.... do you even know what this song is talking about "This is my chance to say i love you. at the end of my rope" what that means is we as humans have a tendency to fall away and without God we are miserable and sometimes we are so stubborn that its only when we reach the end of our rope we decide to "end it all" by coming back to God not suicide i hope i have shed some light on this
@reptile1000 there is even christian deathcore, listen to i built the cross, underneath the gun, we are the end, impending doom, earth from above, on solid ground.

but yah n we have no comprehension of how great heaven will be. idk i may have missed stuff.
If we have no comprehension of how great it will be, then why did you go running your mouth about hating life and when "ur in the spirit its just so much better."
I believe in god and heaven but you took it to the next level my friend.
not life. but living in this world, which is run by the majority who follow the world and its ways.
and not litterally living as a spirit. but i meant walkin throught the path of Jesus Christ and through the spirit. i mean like, when God is LITTERALY moveing in your life.compare that to living in this world.
thats why i said its kinda a msg for ppl who already understand. i like wat lordsantachi said too.
as much as i want to meet God in person or spirit. I/we still have a purpouse
we can compare living life through the spirit, with the world.
now imagine your whole life living THROUGH the spirit. as a spirit so on and so forth 100%. u cant comprehend such divinity can you? but we know its better than living on this world cuz living with God litterally in your life is better.
even church goers and christians dont know wat it is to be in the spirit. they just go to church like they did their "good deed" for the day. but its so much more than that.
Not sure about this song. Really the only reason i listen to this type of music is because i like the breakdowns, and the message behind the music. Breakdowns pump me up, and Christ pumps me up, but this song in a way "glorifies"(wrong word??) suicide, and i may be wrong. Reply if you have a different interpretation.
The song speaks of a last hope from the depths of darkness, much like "My Tourniquet". While the subject matter is dark and not exactly "praise music", it speaks volumes to the poor in spirit.
This song is talking about a person who is at the end of their rope- they are going through a life that is constantly getting worse and they can't handle it all. So this song is them in that state of confusion and despair and seeking God as their final hope feeling that perhaps he can save them from this.
Dark lyrics with a message of hope. Which is in a fair bit of Christian metal :P
the first time I listened to these guys, I didn't really like them. But when i listened a again I was like "gotta have their music". they have one of the best guitar sounds ever!!! I don't know why not that many people have heard of them. This is some pretty good christian death metal righ here.
i love this song, and the solo is freakin amazing. more people need to stop using a bands faith as a judging ground for what they think of their music. these guys are believers and they rock it out, period.
It's not often I find some GOOD Christian Metal (especially in the Death Metal genre), but I think I found something really good here. Thank you for posting!

Doesn't have to be worship to be Christian

You were on a roll till you put the schindler's list stuff in at the end. Why - it has nothing to do with the song...

the first time I listened to these guys, I didn't really like them.
