Overcharted means being overcharted pretty much literally, like for solos, there are more notes to press than there are actually in the song, like the people making it just heard crazy mindless shredding and mapped the fastest stuff they could for it, not going note for note (worst case scenario) but it mostly means more buttons to press in gh than are actually in the song.

In guitar hero 2 they weren't allowed to used the vocals of the actual singers.. that's why if you listen to for example sweet child of mind, you would notice that they are not the same vocals as the actual singer for g n r. my guess is they got permission from the artists from gh 3 and up
