I was really impressed by Alaei's two-barrel bluff, but I was blown away by the call with pocket 10s. That either took nerves of steal, or he was married to the hand and couldn't lay it down.

And yes
I saw players talkin all over their facebook walls about how you should now sign up usin the promo code AMERICAS at Full Tilt Pokers webpage.
I think it's the preferred way if your a new player to start with a nice bankroll.. They will DOUBLE your first deposit plus multiple other important perks. Sadly limited to the first 4000 players that register with this
The good thing about this video is that Raymer kept everything to himself and his response to Mike came from that hand where he basically busted Mike (Mike was not done but lost about 85% of his stack) and ended up winning the Main Event.
Nowadays, I really doubt that Matusow would act like this again.
No offense, but you just described 80% of the pros out there. In other words a really good player who, at times, acts likes an idiot/does idiotic things.
However, that dumb interaction with Raymer is one of those moments you know even Mike regrets. He made an ass of himself against the guy who eventually became not only the World Champ, but was revealed to be a pretty freakin' good player.
great hand between Gardner and Alaei but i think what sealed Alaei's fate was not betting such a strong drawing flop and then deciding to represent on the blank turn - it wasn't at all believable that he would check in position with 3 players on that flop. If there wasn't a straight and flush draw on the flop then the bluff probably could have worked
