If we watched it in slow motion the explosion will last far longer. Maybe we're living in a sort of slow motion and in time the Universe will cease expanding and become stagnant. The end of time.

Just a s a hand grenade explodes the shrapnel would speed up/expand outwards and in time would dissipate and fizzle out. Would we call the force that causes the shrapnel to expand dark energy? @crud4 its a thought but as basic physics explain something cannot accelerate it a force isn't acting on it. and a grenade wouldn't speed up during expansion, it's momentum and velocity would stay at a constant from the initial force of the explosion until it slows down by the gravity and resistance acting upon it. but if no forces would be acting upon the universe it would stay at constant or slow down due to gravity having effect upon the dark matter and normal matter, this proves dark energy.

Stars don't emit a lot of helium. To such extent as they do, I think it's "alpha radiation."
Stars fuse hydrogen into helium in their cores, and that material (unless the star is a fully convective red dwarf) stays in the core unless and until the star blows up.

Dark Energy , in my novice opinion, is simply a matter of time. A perception of time. If we view an explosion, lets say a nail bomb, in time the nails will cease to fly through the air. If we watched it in slow motion the explosion will last far longer. Maybe we're living in a sort of slow motion and in time the Universe will cease expanding and become stagnant. The end of time.

Just a s a hand grenade explodes the shrapnel would speed up/expand outwards and in time would dissipate and fizzle out. Would we call the force that causes the shrapnel to expand dark energy? @crud4 its a thought but as basic physics explain something cannot accelerate it a force isn't acting on it. and a grenade wouldn't speed up during expansion, it's momentum and velocity would stay at a constant from the initial force of the explosion until it slows down by the gravity and resistance acting upon it. but if no forces would be acting upon the universe it would stay at constant or slow down due to gravity having effect upon the dark matter and normal matter, this proves dark energy.

All of the planets of all of the galaxies were formed in the same fashion under the same conditions but not neessarilly with the same arrays of energy. Every second an unquatitative number of chemical element are being weaved by different arrays of frequencies that make up the spectrum of energies. An atom meassures 90 billionths of one millimeter or 3 billionths of one inch. Besides their basic weave, they're surrounded by a field that i've named the EMERs field that form molecules.

If one imagines a basketball cut in half, as one looks at the edge of the skin, that's what the universe would look like if it were also cut in half. The central sector contains one energy source, and the outer another. It's finite.

The photonic theory is an abstract from an imaginary plane that is inconsequential to the truth of the universe. @jqs1943 The distance that light radiates is dependant upon its power intensity. Consider the car with the lights turned on as illustrated by Mr.Filippenko . If the car is moving away from a viewer at night in reverse with its lights turned on, in a straight line, and the night is perfectly dark; eventualy the lights will dissapear from sight.
This means that the spectral radiance of the atmosphere is indirectly proportional to incremental distance, and directly proportionald to decremental.

Remember the basics..in this case the bell shaped curve. This is the natural distribution of characteristics in most biological systems. If you love this lecture most likely the bulk of the population is to your left on that curve and they love Brit Brit. I'd like to formally give Alex Filippenko the medal for best 'Science versus Religion' argument out their at 1:28:00. Unlike other speakers, Alex doesn't dismiss those beliefs that religious people have, but says ok and places it into little bundles. 1. Belive in God literally only in book form. 2. Believe in what He created and what can be discovered by it. And then he let's them figure out what they believe, and which side they feel is being fooled-foolish.

If time and space is expanding so that objects look like they are moving away from us in all directions, then are we not moving away from the other at the same speed, or each is moving away at half the speed of each other? Is it not all relative to where one is positioned in space. Is time or space being more warped at distances farthest away from us? Is time and space tied together with gravity?

If we hadn't studied the universe in detail (funny how you think that it's only about watching galaxies), the laws of nature, speed of light, gravity, weak and strong nuclear forces, electromagnetism etc. - we would not have come up with GPS, computers, modern medicin, new building materials etc.
