As much as i would love for the Alliance to retake Lordaeron, it probably won't happen, not in WoW anyway. Stormwind has a lot of potential to be better than Lordaeron, sadly Blizzard hasent done much for the kingdom...i would like to see a few more human towns within the kingdom, not just a couple camps here and there (im looking at you Redridge).
You gotta understand, Stormwind is still rebuilding. They LOST the First War. They were pretty much wiped out to a man and the survivors had to flee north to beg for help from Lordaeron. This isn't just them being slow with developing, they are actually still in the process of resettling most of these lands. Also doesn't help that things keep happening but we won't get into that. Stormwind is like Europe recovering from WW2.
Don't forget that Lordaeron had once some place called Dalaran... I'm pretty sure that if a rebuilding occurs, the blood-elves and the mages of the Kirin Tor would love to have a word in it! It's gonna be so cool!
@tiddy1987 Dalaran was already rebuilt and magically transported to Northrend. It was the main City for WotLK. Lawl. ;3 Kul'Tiras is something we should be looking forward to.
I hope that by the time Warcraft IV comes out, the Horde and Alliance will dissolve and merge into a single force united with the common goal of defeating the true enemies of the world - Sargeras, and the Old Gods.
Also, I don't like how people are saying "GET OUT FORSAKEN!". They're not going to replague the place - now that the Lich King is dead, their vengeance has been carried out, and now they (for the most part) just want to live in peace.

@Alexhackedone: did you even play Warcraft II, or Warcraft III for that matter? Grom Hellscream was a vastly superior warrior and commander to Garrosh, and is the greatest warrior the Horde has ever had. But it wasn't at all his fighting skill which enabled him to defeat Cenarius, it was the demon blood. Cenarius is a demigod, so the orcs needed demonic power to match Cenarius' divine power.
By the way, Ashenvale has always been the night elves' homeland. Zin-Azshari was the naga/belf homeland.

@datura1983 I think you mean Taretha Foxton. She didn't raise Thrall, but was a close friend of his, who wasn't scared of the fact that he was an Orc. She was one of the humans that convinced him that not all humans were bad, despite the Orcs being used as slaves and gladiators in detainment camps. So while Thrall isn't exactly FOND of humans, he can recognize a need for peaceful co-existance.
Garrosh on the other hand just wants war with everyone. Even Horde players hate the dipshit. :\

I don't know why but parts of this reminds me lots of Warcraft 2. Especially the parts with the heavy church bell sounds and the synthish sounding nununununuh...lol best I can describe it. Made me nostalgia trip when I first set foot into the new WPL.
Even as an Ally pally, I still felt for the Forsaken, but now they're just as ruthless and bent on (re)conquest as the Scourge. The Alliance has just as much of a claim to Lordaeron--the survivors in SW and Theramore ring a bell?--as the Horde. Especially since the Forsaken insist on spreading plagues. The Argent Crusade should rule over everything and then both the undead and living can settle without ruining the whole place.
Poor Lordaeron, it was my favorite human nation. The plaguelands were some of my favorite places to be in WoW, to explore all the places that we defended in Warcraft 3 against the undead tide, and remember all the innocent folk that were killed by the plague. I know it's weird, but I can't imagine the horror that the common people were feeling as their lives were destroyed, their families turned to the undead, their towns burned, their kingdom destroyed. So tragic, and now to see it green again
Argent Crusade, Needs to take all the Western and Eastern Plaugelands, the Realm of Fordring...i know corny, but this will always be my favorite places to level before cata and after, I remember coming here when it was higher....me and my friend a pally and a warlock...lower levels...fun times...sigh...
The track from 2:20 to 2:58 is really amazing. The beginning is like a story about the tragic past of the humans that lived in Lordaeron and the fate they suffered. Then, what follows next tells us about their struggles to press on despite the hardships that they are facing. The battalions from Stormwind are here and together with the argent dawn they are prepared to reclaim their homeland from the scourge and the forsaken, no matter the cost. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

What good is there in invading the human's territory and turning it into plaguelands v 2.0? A good example would be in hillsbrad: they turned the farms into the sludge fields, which are full of uncontrollable undead, and the quest giver even asks you to kill them!

Lordaeron is contsted, first of all since not all of Lordaeron's population became Scourge or Forsaken. Proof of this are the Scarlet Crusade, Argent Dawn and the few humans that made it to Stormwind. That said, Lordaeron belongs to both humans (not alliance) and the forsaken (not horde).
The real twist is that Sylvanas has no claim to those lands since she's from Quel'Thalas, and she's undoing the work of nature be creating more forsaken and blighting everywhere (Hillsbrad region).
This place can be considered the Plaguelands again, because the Forsaken are going to take it. The true heirs to Lordaeron ARE the Forsaken, who were the former citizens of Lordaeron, and they love turning things that are renewed and pure into fucking disturbing shit (Hillsbrad Fields).
Sorry, Alliance, as much as I believed this place belonged to you.

Quel'Thalas was its own. It was also a very secluded kingdom, and the Highborne wanted to keep it that way. It was among the first to secede from the Alliance of Lordaeron after the Second War.
this was truly awesome. i went on yesterday, and kept on hearing this. there was alos a variation of the old menu theme and something that sounded like wc3!!
I'm never going to be able to play through the Western Plagues. I'd feel horrible watching the restored greenery being turned back into the blighted dead environment it was before.

Only a small part of the south (chillwind camp and uther's tomb) remain alliance, though a farm, a towerand hearthglen become AC places in the far north, and cenarion have a small camp too.
The massive chunk of land in the middle belongs to the forsaken after phasing.. at least two thirds of the place.. Yep.
only dumb people think that alliance can raise meadows on the grounds where once plague stood...its naive,nothing can clear the plague !

@Alexhackedone: datura1983's attitude may be immature and insulting, but continuing this argument the way you have isn't much better. And the nelves don't have all the heavily wooded areas on Kalimdor. Dustwallow, Stonetalon, Mulgore, Azshara and Un'Goro all have plenty of trees.
Lastly, the the Alliance, Cenarion Circle AND Argent Crusade are against replagueing Lordaeron, so the Forsaken better watch out, considering they hold only a fraction of the power of the Scourge.

@Alexhackedone: did you even play Warcraft II, or Warcraft III for that matter? Grom Hellscream was a vastly superior warrior and commander to Garrosh, and is the greatest warrior the Horde has ever had. But it wasn't at all his fighting skill which enabled him to defeat Cenarius, it was the demon blood. Cenarius is a demigod, so the orcs needed demonic power to match Cenarius' divine power.
By the way, Ashenvale has always been the night elves' homeland. Zin-Azshari was the naga/belf homeland.

The high elves that remained with the legion to the end, became the naga, including the Queen Aszhara.

@datura1983 I think you mean Taretha Foxton. She didn't raise Thrall, but was a close friend of his, who wasn't scared of the fact that he was an Orc. She was one of the humans that convinced him that not all humans were bad, despite the Orcs being used as slaves and gladiators in detainment camps. So while Thrall isn't exactly FOND of humans, he can recognize a need for peaceful co-existance.
Garrosh on the other hand just wants war with everyone. Even Horde players hate the dipshit. :\

Even as an Ally pally, I still felt for the Forsaken, but now they're just as ruthless and bent on (re)conquest as the Scourge. The Alliance has just as much of a claim to Lordaeron--the survivors in SW and Theramore ring a bell?--as the Horde. Especially since the Forsaken insist on spreading plagues. The Argent Crusade should rule over everything and then both the undead and living can settle without ruining the whole place.

Poor Lordaeron, it was my favorite human nation. The plaguelands were some of my favorite places to be in WoW, to explore all the places that we defended in Warcraft 3 against the undead tide, and remember all the innocent folk that were killed by the plague. I know it's weird, but I can't imagine the horror that the common people were feeling as their lives were destroyed, their families turned to the undead, their towns burned, their kingdom destroyed. So tragic, and now to see it green again

The track from 2:20 to 2:58 is really amazing. The beginning is like a story about the tragic past of the humans that lived in Lordaeron and the fate they suffered. Then, what follows next tells us about their struggles to press on despite the hardships that they are facing. The battalions from Stormwind are here and together with the argent dawn they are prepared to reclaim their homeland from the scourge and the forsaken, no matter the cost. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

@eternia15 There's a really simple answers to that: use the corpses of the soldiers that die in battle, not of some innocent farmers. Really, there are endless possibilities if they want to find them, but instead they choose to take the same path as the scourge did.
It's funny, though, how Sylvanas was hating Arthas for killing her and forcing her to serve him when she does the same thing to others.

What good is there in invading the human's territory and turning it into plaguelands v 2.0? A good example would be in hillsbrad: they turned the farms into the sludge fields, which are full of uncontrollable undead, and the quest giver even asks you to kill them!

Lordaeron is contsted, first of all since not all of Lordaeron's population became Scourge or Forsaken. Proof of this are the Scarlet Crusade, Argent Dawn and the few humans that made it to Stormwind. That said, Lordaeron belongs to both humans (not alliance) and the forsaken (not horde).
The real twist is that Sylvanas has no claim to those lands since she's from Quel'Thalas, and she's undoing the work of nature be creating more forsaken and blighting everywhere (Hillsbrad region).

This place can be considered the Plaguelands again, because the Forsaken are going to take it. The true heirs to Lordaeron ARE the Forsaken, who were the former citizens of Lordaeron, and they love turning things that are renewed and pure into fucking disturbing shit (Hillsbrad Fields).

Quel'Thalas was its own. It was also a very secluded kingdom, and the Highborne wanted to keep it that way. It was among the first to secede from the Alliance of Lordaeron after the Second War.

Only a small part of the south (chillwind camp and uther's tomb) remain alliance, though a farm, a towerand hearthglen become AC places in the far north, and cenarion have a small camp too.
The massive chunk of land in the middle belongs to the forsaken after phasing.. at least two thirds of the place.. Yep.
