Buchanan, though-- yeah, he's creepy, and somewhat ignorant, and a loudmouth. But Rachel still gets along with him, somehow :)

And as for the affirmative action thing, I was the first physically disabled student to be mainstreamed into my high school. There had been blind and deaf students before me, but I was the first one with a really noticeable physical issue (stemming from brain damage). I was an affirmative action student, and I *hated* it. Teachers were told to give me Bs even if I failed. I wanted to be treated equally.
