  • And what happened last time ND played the canes??? We whupped that ass.

  • @parkerh305, is your name ItachiZaku??? Alright then. Mind your business. That dude wanted to start shit by saying ND has had only one decent pro in the last 20 years. I simply called him out on it, because it's bullshit. ND has had plenty of great pros. Case in point, Justin tuck.

  • And may I ask why this was turned into a "how many good players from ND/Miami" discussion??? I simply said that Tim Brown won a Heisman, and Irvin did not. ND beat Miami in '88, which to me was a more important win than Miami's '87 win. That's all I said.

  • @warrior34able why do you even keep posting comments here? go watch a ND video or something. And how was the ND 88 win more important than the 87 Miami win? They both lead to undefeated national championship teams

  • Ryan grant from the packers.

  • Kyle Rudolph, tight end for the Vikings. John Carlson, tight end for the Seahawks. Anthony Fasano, tight end for the dolphins. I guess they don't exist either. smh

  • @ItachiZaku, yeah because nobody's ever heard of Justin Tuck from the giants, right??? 2-time superbowl champ, dummy. If you even watched football you'd know that name. Jeff Faine is another name. Golden Tate (who will have a breakout season), Michael Floyd who will be the 2nd WR drafted thus year. But you're right. We only had one guy. smh. Dumbass. Think before you speak.

  • Canes fans can have the '87 win. Irish fans will take the '88 win and the undefeated season.

  • Irvin was not way better than Brown. If we're talking NFL wise, put Brown on the same team as troy aikman and Emmit Smith, and he would have put up the same kind of numbers. College wise, Brown was better. After all he did only win that thing called the HEISMAN TROPHY. But no big deal I guess. smh

  • @warrior34able You can have your 1 player. I've been sitting here trying to think of other "good" players in the NFL that came out of Notre Dame in the last 20 years but... the only name that is really coming to me is Rocket Ismail, and even he was over shadowed by Pinball Clemons in Toronto. So, you go ahead and live off your one decent pro.

  • I love how they called ND "those little Irish people". Lol. Little people physically outmatched the canes in '88. Little my ass. Go Irish!!!

  • THE U - A LIFE STYLE

  • What happened in 88' though? nuff said. Miami got beat by slow white dudes in 88 with Tony Rice at QB for the irish!

  • yea you dont have any class miami. 33-17 sun bowl

  • Hahaha what u talking about. All these players can out to be nfl stars and Tim brown is the only player to come out of notre dame. I would be ashamed cus he's a pussy

  • yeah they are thugs and cocky af and what not but they are also championgs all about da []__[]

  • Where are these guys now? Most are pushing brooms in warehouses! Where is Tim Brown now? Hall of fame bound... and probably financially very secure.

  • @janelasdedeus OK but they kicked his ass anyway.

  • @janelasdedeus Oh by the way, Miami produced Michael Irvin who in reality was 100000x better than Brown.

  • Haha, these Miami guys are hilarious. Haha, Tim Brown hasn't done nothing. All he did was win the Heisman later that year and go on to have a Hall of Fame-like career. Now let's see, what did those Miami players talking all that trash do in the pros? Haha, nothing! I have mad respect for the Miami teams of the 1980's, but after watching this documentary, their players were annoying.

  • all we do is win!

  • The U from those days were the dirtiest team i've ever seen. That's what happen when you recruit people out from gangs. What's the percentage of players with a degree, a real degree between those men?

  • This is the first time watching this clip. Y'all gotta remember, Tim Brown is considered college football's player of that decade, and the Canes did that to him?

  • Bernie Kosar and Bennie Blades look like they're doing this interview for COKE money. Meanwhile, Tim Brown is sitting in his fucking mansion, eating steak and lobster, waiting to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

  • tim brown is 10X the football player any of those guys interviewed. I wonder how many of those guys in the interiview other than walsh got a degree? Ohyeah how is miami doing in 2011 so far?

  • @Canada201042 He seems like a total badass... crying for the referee to give him his rag back.

  • Comment removed

  • everyone just mad at the U cuz we did shit differant we whooped your ass and then we bragged about and then did it again the next year... we went to 8 championships in 15 years get the fuck out of here if notre dame did that or ohio state there would be fucking statues and mueseums

  • good thing for miami fans, there will always be youtube so they can remember when they used to have a football team

  • Its been what, like 30 years? Hellooo..there wasn't a more bragadocious team than Miami back then. You'd think these guys who made lack of sportsmanship their badge of honor would either gain some perspective in 30 years or at least lose the attitude toward opponents who did the silly macho things as 19 year olds that these fools still seem to think is "cool" in their mid forties. Grow up much? They sound like punk teenagers.

  • @tommyarmour986

If anybody believed any of the words you wasted on this video. They NEVER would have done a 30 for 30 on that team. The reason the U was highlighted is NOT just because of the bravado. They have ties in the NFL to multiple Pro Bowls, Super Bowls, Def POY, etc. That is why they are still relevant, and it is why Notre Dame is not. I saw nothing to be ashamed of in this video. A group of men who was part of one of the greatest teams in College Football history. No shame in that.

  • @drbayoms Hate to tell you buddy but they did a 30 for 30 film on UM because it is a train wreck. They also did 30 for 30's on Len Bias(OD"d on coke), 2 Escobars(murder, drugs, etc), Tim Richmond(died of AIDS), Jimmy the Greek(died penniless), SMU(death penalty for cheating), Marcus Dupree(never made it in the NFL), Ricky Williams(weird, pot smoker)....its just funny that you think because they did a documentary on Miami that its a GOOD thing. It was an embarrassment to the program. WOW.

  • @knightguy11

You are truly stupid. Most sports documentaries (the interesting ones at least) are controversial. And the Miami Hurricanes are equally controversial. Just as big time sports is controversial. These guys from the U won 5 National Championships and sent to the NFL some of the best athletes over the last 30 years.

These documentaries show the extreme highs and lows of star athletes in a business littered with money and excess.

    I am ok with that.

If you aren't, then fuck off.

  • @drbayoms WOW, you have some thin skin. My comment was about people who think the UM documentary was positive. I did find it interesting...but being a Cane fan, I also found it derogatory and embarrassing. Not really sure how I'm "stupid"? Thats a good one, lol. You are the idiot thinking just because they did a 30 for 30 documentary that it is somehow good? Trust me....it did nothing good for the football program. The program is floundering right now....not much good going on....Grow up buddy.

  • @knightguy11

It's the ebbs and flows of life. They will be fine. They haven't had a recruiter on the level of Butch Davis since he left. The documentaries gave insight into the circumstances that surrounded one of the greatest football programs of all times. It is not always going to be pretty. Big time sports (even college football) will always have its "seedy side". The next 30 for 30 will be "Penn St: From Titles to Tarnish". Grow up and get over yourself. The program will be fine.

  • @drbayoms Well...since I'm a Cane fan for 30 years I truly hope the program will become relevant again for sure. The Penn St situation is extremely sad...and has little to do with football and everything to do with a cover up of gigantic proportions.....millions of dollars in law suits will follow. You can embrace the Cane documentary? Not sure why you would want to be proud of cheating and unsportsmanlike penalties, etc....but you are entitled to your opinion. Go Canes...win the ACC someday!

  • @knightguy11 Marcus Dupree played two years for the LA Rams jackass.

  • @clipobserver OK genius. He played 2 seasons with the Rams. He played in 3 games and ran for 72 yds on 19 carries in his 1st season......2nd season...he played in 8 games rushing for 179 yds on 49 carries and 1 TD......is that "making it in the NFL" ? ......and I'm the Jackass, lol. If you call then MAKING it in the NFL.....then you have problems.....good day!

  • @knightguy11 STILL 11 MORE GAMES THAN BOTH OF US PLAYED IN THE NFL JACKASS.

  • @clipobserver As I said in my original comment. He never "made it" in the NFL. There is a reason the documentary was called "the best that never was"....grow up buddy.....all caps...really, lol! I played in more college games than he did....and you!

  • @knightguy11 I didn't said he was a star. He did play in the NFL probably would have played sooner but his knee blew out in the USFL though he could have blew it out at OU or the NFL (then again I doubt the NFL let three year players like they do now). I'm sure you were a good college players but there's a lot of good college players that didn't reach the NFL.

  • @clipobserver Tell me something I don't know. The real point here is that your comment to me.....calling me a "jackass", because of a comment I made regarding a "30 for 30" documentary regarding Dupree called "the best that never was", was very ignorant. Not really sure what your problem is? Maybe you are a kid of 13? grow up buddy!

  • Have fun with the death penalty, Canes.

  • @SMonkey100 i sooooo can't wait to see the canes get the death penalty!! Thats gonna be the best thing ever!! bye bye miami!!

  • tim brown is not in the hall of fame yet smh guys need to do some research

  • Class ??? Is this football or tennis ?? GO "U" !!

  • Tim Brown is not in The Hall of Fame yet... NFL HOF ... I believe he's in the College HOF though.

  • "ohh we didnt play with no class. well maybe they should do the same thing cuz we wooped the hell outta them." lol

  • If you're right about Hill, then that is scary. He's about the last person after Bernie the drunk I would working a position that position.

  • @mj7293 Why? You don't know him. I think the people who hired him know a lot more about him then you, dumbass.

  • @Alteonify Did you watch the documentary? That's the best argument you can come up with?? Were u looking in the mirror when you said "dumbass." I don't know Bernie Kosar personally either, but I wouldn't want him babysitting my kids. Do I have to know Caylee Anthony (and no, I'm not comparing the two before u get excited) to have an opinion on her? Sorry, man, but I don't want some bitter, angry guy who went to a half-ass school working as a HSA.

  • @mj7293 Except, he was hired by homeland security, you idiot. They do personality and mental stability tests before they even consider you. Bitter? Angry? What the fuck are you talking about? Yeah, you're pretty damn stupid.

  • @Alteonify What are you talking about.? Where did I say he wasn't hired? And you really mean to tell me you saw the documentary & Hill didn't come across as a bitter, angry guy? I suppose you thought Kosar was sober too. Hill was a thug in college and doesn't appear to have changed. I'm a big believer in affirmative action, but not when it comes to this country's security. But, hey, maybe they hired him b/c the was from the U and just assumed he knew how to fire off a few rounds

  • @mj7293

"bitter, angry guy who went to a half-ass school working as a HSA"

You just described the entire department. Now can you please tell everyone else what your real problem is. Because I know it isn't some UM alum who graduated 20 years ago. And where are you from where you think a 5'10'' 180 pound flanker is a thug? Don't worry buddy, Hurricane videos will always be here for you.

  • @prod1gy3000 Not a problem anymore, since you seemed to have conceded to every "point" you tried to make. The sad thing is, I don't think you're even smart enough to realize how you just contradicted yourself in your previous post. You must be a UM Alum :)

  • @mj7293

Why don't you tell us all?

  • @mj7293 Thuggss????Get it right shit bagg "CHAMPIONS"!!![]_[] hater are you???5 national titels and no matter how much you hate these CHAMPIONS they wupped the best asses and told you before they did it and noone will ever be ever to take those titels away lmmfao!!!FSU,Gators,Notre Dame,Texas,UCLA,Oklahoma,Nebraska all fell victim to that []_[] :-) and Miami told you they would do it before they did it HA!!!!

  • @Canesnumber1stunner Miami lost to Florida in 1983...28-3 in its opener....then went on to win it's 1st NC.....Love the Canes....just don't love the Cane fans for the most part. Guys like you who can't even spell the word TITLES, lol.(not titels)....What has Miami done lately? exactly...keep living in the past my friend.

  • @knightguy11 Miami has broken into the top 40 school nationally.

  • @najewssilluh Are you talking about academically? Miami is a very good school, no doubt!

  • I love how Notre Dame fans keep calling these guys convicts. Randal Hill is a Homeland Security Agent!

  • Comment removed

  • LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! Love Bennie's comment. God I hate Notre Dame!!!

  • 1:56 ahaha

  • i'm a raider fan, so i love tim brown.... but damn timmy... you embarrassed me with this rag story, lol

  • Tiger Clark: "I got, I got it! I got the rag!"

Tim Brown: "Ref, make him gimme that rag back!"

  • Mike Irvin is in the Hall of Fame. Tim Brown another overrated wuss from Crybaby, IN.

  • @gomiamigo Tim Brown was special in the NFL,call him a pussy but he wasnt overrated

  • @hurricanesQB1 Tim is in the Hall Of Fame.

  • @Domini478 im aware.

  • @Domini478

Denial is powerful, I know. But please try again.

  • @prod1gy3000 Tim is in the Hall Of Fame dumbass!

  • @gomiamigo Tim Brown is in the Hall Of Fame too. dumbass!

  • Tim Brown = Heisman Trophy winner and Hall of Fame NFL wide receiver.

All of these guys= Ex cons.

  • @HarpuaND84 I believe Irvin was on that team. He was a 3 time super bowl champion and hall of famer. All these guys were also national champions

  • SWEET

  • Fuck Norte Dame.

  • Tim Brown > than all these ass clowns

  • @FurlogTheGiant 24-0 + lil tim brown keeping his towel

  • The sad thing about the UM football program is how bitter these guys are today. Tim Brown got a degree from a Top 20 school, a Heisman and an induction in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I've barely heard of any of these thugs.

  • @mj7293 Amen to that! These guys are hanging out with Al Bundy talking about his 4 TD's at Polk High. ND owns Miami - 16 wins to 7 losses and 1 tie. For U math majors, ND won 71% of the games played against U guys. Brag all you want about beating Gerry Faust.

  • @slashba33 come on man. did you watch the whole documentary? yeah maybe notre dame beat up on miami pre-1980 but once the canes came on they beat down on the irish...for the most part

  • Bratton, Blades, Perriman, Clark, Hill, Irvin . . . those guys were all NFL players, most of them starters. Last I heard Brown wasn't in the Hall of Fame. He's been denied two years in a row now. Ouch. Mike Irvin, Tim Brown's counterpart in this game, made it on his first year on the ballot, and didn't lay eggs in the Super Bowl. He'll eventually get in but he graduated in the 80's. Good luck waiting on the next one. Miami's got guys playing in the NFL today that will get VIP treatment in Canton

  • @prod1gy3000 Tim Brown is in the Hall Of Fame dumbass. Michael Irvin did not get 1st ballot Hall Of Fame either.

  • @mj7293 THUGS?? These guys have professional jobs and are coaches. Jack ass. Thugs?? CLOWN

  • 2010 Notre Dame 33 convicts 17.....eat that baby!

  • classy program

  • @domerheel Haha. Just remember.. God made Notre Dame #1. Miami made them #2.

  • @JHtheKING1 lmao! best comment ever

  • You gotta love these guys

  • Yes Sir... U called my mamma a punk.... Classic

  • Notre Dame was a bunch of Pussys!!!

  • ah that team was epic....we came, we saw, and we kicked your F$%&ING A@#
