I just tried out the boss me70 today (side by side with the ax3000g, and I bought the korg), not to say any biased opinions, but the me70 has a noise, that did not happen on the korg; some argue that it has some thing with the grounding while some say that noise is typical BOSS noise. I've never used any MFX, but today i decided just go and mess around the shop, after 1 hour of experiment with the korg I think i was going somewhere!

@AJkingofmetal well to be perfectly honest i dont know witch one is better.. ive never tested or used the me25 but i have used simmilar pedals to me25 and i didnt like them much... the korg has everything i want and it has been a tank for a couple years! totaly worth the $250 i payed for it! yes there are better pedals out there but not for how inexpencive you can get this one!!!

@AJkingofmetal If you want a ton of effects, get the Korg. If you want good sounding distortion, get the Boss...I'm selling my korg to get the boss me-25...

i would say the korg ax3000g would be better for a keyboard it has all the same effects as the px5d and more but the px5d is going to be alot more portable obviously

nice crazy train stuff =) got the same pedal its damn good but try the us-cabinet stuff(mesa) and the metal distortion. this is my favorit sound cheers

i had ax1500g earlier but i sold it coz i cudnt make desired heavy patches n now if i dnt get tones in this 3000g i wil helplessly sell it too

LOL you have no idea i fit 4 guitars 2 amps a keyboard a computer desk 27 inch tv dresser my bed 2 hardshell cases and my nightstand and a fan in my little tiny room XD its still fun though oh yea and my muliti fx pedal when its out (witch is all the time)

Im gonna tell you guys how to get a distortion like this, its not that hard:

First, Get your Drive/amp to "Metal Distortion" (Obviously)

, Gain max, Volume doesent really matters, Treeble something between 5.0 and 6.0, Middle arround 2.0-3.0 , Bass Something like 8.0.

Now add a Pre FX, The one that says "COMP"

and set the sensibility around 4.5 - 6.0

And you get an AWESOME sound

NOtice you are always using your bridge pickups of course.

Now, please describe how you made the sound. :P Thats not a factory preset, as you said you made it yourself. Tapping is not possible on any of the factory presets, and i really wanna be able to do that :)
