  • Thanks so much for your kind comments. Although a lot of

the button boxers I know in the San Francisco Bay Area are

not of Slovenian Heritage, many others are and it's through

them that we get a lot of the Slovenian music. This particular

song is from the original Lojze Slak music that a friend of mine in Pennsylvania gave me.

  • Your are far away from Slovenia. Its nice to see how American play folk music from such a small country. Greetings from Slovenia. Nice playing and keep it going !

  • Hi,

Loved it!!! Great sound with both of you together!!! 5*

Best Regards from the lower part of our great state of California,

    Dwayne

  • Thanks, FrajtonUrby! I'm just an old amatuer, but Sheri is

Professional and makes me sound good!! I started playing at

69 and now am 81, but I love the button box and many Slovenian songs although I'm Italian-Anerican.

greetings from the North Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area

we're about 60 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

  • Nice playing!

    Greetings from Slo.

  • "Great Job both of you!

Triglav is three mountain peaks in Sloveian.

  • Thank you for your comment. I'm not Slovenian neither is Sheri, but I have her playing Slovenian music as that's what

I learned from other button boxers and going to Fontana

Button Box Festival for several years!.

    ciao,

    Ralph & Sheri

  • Super!!!!! Awesome!!!

  • Great, did you try "Triglav Waltz" (Triglavski valček) from Lojze Slak.

  • Thanks for your comment. No, I haven't tried "Triglav Waltz'

I'll have to try and locate the music for it. I play by regular

music notation and the polka was given to me by professional

button box player who leads his own musical group in Pennsylvania. I met him at Joe Smiell's Button box camp.

  • thanks Ralph and Sheri, nice playing always!

  • Thanks, Jim!
