  • The original line up and still the BEST line up Foreigner ever had.Killer version of a killer song and Lou Gramm sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • HELL YES!!! Lou Gramm is the ONLY way to listen to Foreigner.!!!!!

  • I have double vision all the time... It's really not so bad!

  • Lou....Lou....Lou! Love you!!

  • The original band, they were sooo talented !! I've always loved Dennis Elliott, his kit sounds so great and he beats the crap out of it !

  • 80 people had double vision get the best of them.

  • Nelson, What do you know! Not much from your rantings and the rest of you must live in Never Never Land. When you can put together a great band like this then you can talk!

  • Nelson, What do you know! Not much from your rantings.

  • If you search spys foreigner, a band he started with Al Greenwood will come up on some videos, he didn't use the Rickenbacker but it still sounds good on the songs from the first album. They had a little success but for some reason, they just didn't catch on.

  • what a great american band there music is timeless two thumbs up

  • I think Mick Jones imagined himself as following in the footsteps a similarly hot veteran guitar player called Jimmy Page, using the "Led Zeppelin formula". "Gee, I've always wanted to start my own band. Let's see if I can find a younger, golden-haired soulful singer of the 'Robert Plant/Roger Daltrey' mold, and form a band around him." The difference is, there wasn't the same kind of chemistry with the players he chose like there was with Zeppelin. The experiment failed!

  • @notfragile33 Failed? They've sold 70 million records worldwide.

  • @tryithere By failure, I mean, how many different versions of Foreigner have there been? How many different versions of Led Zeppelin have there been? How many times did Jimmy Page have to replace all the members of Zeppelin the way Mick Jones did? NONE!

  • RAW! Real fuckin music kids ;) and much more :))

  • Nothing good can last forever.....

  • 2 Bass drums fucking yeah

  • @H1GhVoL7aGe My favorite kit is the 1981 era drum kit when Dennis Elliot used two Kicks, but one power tom between them.

  • I thought Mick Jones totally fucked up giving Ed Gagliardi the boot as well as Ian and Al a couple years later, I've felt really bad for Ed having to go through that, I always thought Mick Jones was an egotistical asshole

  • @Doobie1975 Ed Gagliardi was the "Anchor" in the rhythym section,or the glue that held the band together!!!! I loved his Rickenbacker bass tones, because No Fender P bass can cut through like that!!!! Listen to Starrider at the 1:37 mark for that bass fill that Ed played, and you'll see or I should say hear what I mean!!!! Nothing beats the "Click Of A Rick"!!!!

  • This clip has the original Ed Gagliardi on bass. I can't believe I still remember his name. They really hated him for some reason. I clearly recall Mick making jokes at his expense AFTER he had left the band. It was totally uncool and nobody came to Ed's defense. He must have done something really terrible or monumentally stupid. There's little justification for "dissing" someone after they are gone. He was just the damn bass player.

  • @NelsonClick mick sounds like an asshole

  • @NelsonClick It's because Mick Jones is an egotistical asshole. You'll notice how many original band members are still in the band.... there is a reason for that.

  • Yeah, the classic line-up...right on!!!! Too bad that they didn't stay together.

  • I love playing Foreigner songs on my guitar ,i have lots of fun shreding on ther songs..

  • Great song, definitely the golden era of Foreigner, this is the Foreigner I love the most!

  • @Doobie1975 I definitely agree. Their first 2-3 albums were the gratest!

  • Damn typo. The DV tour...

  • I saw the CV tour too. Great memories. Wish I still had the shirt.

  • Seen the Double Vision tour......

  • This was my very first rock concert and I was only 13. I remember when they did this song these large mirrors came down behind them and I thought that was so cool! Great band, great songs....

  • @jenhasken do you remember who opened for them?

  • awsome Lou & Mc

  • Nice!

  • Awesome!

  • Had this concert for many years taped off the radio…..Double Vision is one of my all time favorite songs. Thanks for posting it! Where did the video come from?

  • @VigilanteMan32 Double Vision is also one of my all time favorite songs, nice to see people think so highly of Double Vision, it seems to be that when people think of Foreigner the first song that they mention is I Want to Know What Love Is

  • @Doobie1975 I thought they immediately think of Hot Blooded?
