Another example of human stupidity.. seriously people, suffering, starving, etc. all around the world, so what can we expect from out masterminds? A touch cube cost 150$, while you can buy an original perfect working for 15$.. Congratulations!
@MissLiz3 oh, a touched person who bought this :D congratulations! I'd rather shut up with my off-topics, especially if it's not based on any knowledge. US..
@xgt1234 I don't use the Rubiks cube. I was looking at different types. ... I'm just saying judging others is hypocritical while you're doing the same thing just in a different form.
@MissLiz3 There might be a little.. difference, don't you think? Anyway, let's end it here, I still think this is a stupidity, I have my opinion, you have yours, and I don't care.
*drops it* OH NO IT BROKE NOW I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER ONE *goes to store* "sales clerk" "im sorry we dont sell those here" "guy" WHAT?!?!?! I BOUGHT ONE FROM HERE 10 MINUTES AGO HOW DO YOU NOT SELL THEM "sales clerk" oh um we ran out of those 9 minutes ago "guy" slaps forhead and throws cube at clerks head
The difference between getting a touchcube from bestbuy, and the one shown, is the screens. The more expensive, $149.99 cube is a single LED screen on each side, while the $19.99 - $49.99 cube at bestbuy displays many individual LED lights, each cube being one.
On ebay, most of them were like 70$-$90. Best Buy is selling them for just 50. I know you can buy a real one for like what, less than 9 bucks, but it's still awesome to have a more modern one.
normally i enjoy speed solving and seeing how fast i can go, but i don't think i've ever enjoyed solving a rubik's cube as much as the rubik's touch. Best buy has them on sale for $50.00 if you're looking for a good deal
ok so i went to best buy because it was on sale for 50 dollars and i bought it got home and tried it out. honestly if you aren't in a pitch dark room you can't see it. if you finger is touching one of the other sides it won't turn. so i returned it and realized why it was so cheap compared to the $150 dollar price it used to be. IT SUCKS thats why it was on sale.
it does have some advantages like it gives you hints and solutions if you're stuck and it shows you your previous moves but iagrea it does seem kind of stupid and a waste of money
ok you just dont master it a couple times! the movements on this cube are correct and this is coming from a person that can solve a cube in under a minute and has "mastered it" more times than you could imagine! Ignorant bastard!
You say the movements on the cube are correct yet how comes the center piece are moveable? Plus not once did I ever say I've mastered it in under a minute you mindless moronic bastard. Hmm, you see on all the rubik's cube I have "mastered" never do the center pieces move, and that's exactly why I found this touchscreen cube to be somewhat of an expensive gimmick. So shut the fuck up you dumb prick and actually read as ell as comprehend what people say before jumping to your own conclusions.
i'd be afraid of dropping it too much to use it much anyway.
all your points are all valid but are focused on the practicality of this object. i'd look as this more as a cheap display piece than overpriced toy. and as far as a display pieces goes this is actually rather nice, considering you can pay ten times the price for a bust of darth vader's head.
wow.. i seen this at best buy had to look it up on youtube. What a piece of shit. 150 bucks? Word of advice for anyone, if you cant solve the 4 dollar normal one at wallmart dont bother getting the 150 dollar one. I guess it has features that help you solve it, but that just takes away from the challange of learning how. I can do it in 4 minutes, once you learn it, you wont forget. then the toy becomes a dust collector. Enless your doing it as a trick for a beer to impress a friend.
wow that's just lame. Real rubik's cubes are actually fun to do more than once. If you want to solve it once, to make yourself feel smart that's you. it's anothe thing to challenge yourself, get faster and beat your time. Dust collector? I use mine every day. I first cubed 2 months ago and I still use it every day. Start time was 8 minutes and now I can average 1 min. So if it's to prove something to yourself...no don't get it. to have fun and improve...get a REAL Cube.
Seriously overpriced. To buy this is to go where geeks fear to tread. The tech inside doesn't seem all that advanced seeing as how it only uses 54 light panels.... I bet I could make this with a C-stamp, plexiglass, RGB LEDs, some infrared LEDs for the touch feature... For the price, I would have expected some low-res LCD panels that churn out the cube in 3D so it could at least be visually coherent. LMAO
Ok seriously,.... 150 dollars??? Come on, I've got this at my store where I work now and honestly I would NOT pay more than 75 dollars for this. Not worth the shit.
... and ... there's a rumour that a company is going to make this in, wait for it... plastic, with, colored 9 decals on the six faces, and, like, you'll be able to, get this, "twist" the sides into positions. It's, like revolutionary shit. Cant wait for That!
i dont understand how to fucking play that shit. I prefer the original

it was the entire middle row moving, not just a center piece.
see look, try this: move the two outer rows in the same direction.
thats the same as turning the middle row, without turning the sides.
