How can I capture a pic an set as my back ground I have the usb flash with pic on it but I don't know how can u tell me

@melvione4 Look at page 39-40 of your manual. First plug in your usb, bring up the picture. Then hit capture..save it over the existing capture. Then go into your settings > display > display design > backgrnd > Then choose the image you just saved (should be the 4th box)

Also, whats the framerate limit on files through the USB stick? I have some 60frame/sec videos that get a 'framerate not supported' error.

@onetwo Answering my own question: converting with Freemake Video Converter. Settings: to AVI, 720x480, original adjustment, xvid codec, original framerate, auto bitrate, with 320kbps mp3 audio. Works great and the file sizes dont end up being too big for the usb stick.

I was wondering while you're driving, if you can still use motionx gps to search destinations or new destinations. I know other units you require a bypass. If not you have to stop the car to search destinations or new destinations.

if you can't view videos, make sure the KSU30 cable's RCA jacks are all plugged into the back of the head unit, then connect your iphone and go into video mode

Do I have to have an iPhone for GPS? O-o I have a droid but since its for iphone I imagine it wont work.. does it also support buying the extra box for GPS for people that don't have an iPhone?

@califsportsshots That's not entirely clear - there is a difference of opinion between 2 of our associate sites. Crutchfield says it will not fit a 2001 5 Series while SonicElectronix says it will. My recommendation would be to check with a qualified installer in your area.

cant decide on this or the KW NT30HD, I like having the bigger screen, only things not swaying me all the way to the 840 is the onboard nav. Is there an option for an add-on nav module for this. I do have an iphone but dont want to depend on that for the long term. Also what other benefits would I really get from the NT30HD over this one.

@E5T4T3 It will fit, though you'll probably want to invest in a dash kit and cable harness for your Scion for a cleaner look and simpler installation.

@E5T4T3 According to two of our associate dealer sites, Crutchfield and SonicElectronix, the KW-AVX840 will fit in a 2008 Scion xB, though it requires the factory stereo brackets to be used as part of the installation. It might be worth checking with another installer in your area.

@E5T4T3 When watching video from your iPod / iPhone or other external device, make sure you select AV-In for both Audio Input and Video Input. You can change the setting only when the AV device is turned off.

@Dlr2000rsr The KW-AVX840 should fit your Yukon, however it might require some modifications depending on the amount of space available behind the dashboard. Check with a qualified installer in your area to find out more.

How does the audio scrolling work with this one? Do I have to hold down the scroll button to find what I want, or am I able to move my finger along the scroll bar to move quickly to a certain artist, song etc.? Or perhaps there's some sort of alphabetical search?

@mclarenmach3 For scrolling through your list of iPod songs, there are 2 ways to browse and control your music. In 'Head' mode, (and for USB and disc playback) the Head Unit display is used to skip to the next or previous song by swiping your finger across the screen left or right, or by selecting your song from a list of available tracks that you page through using the up/down arrows. In 'iPod' mode, you use your iPod/iPhone to control searching, scrolling and selecting your desired song.
