Saw this guy live the other night, at the Palms in Winters, California, with his band Blue Highway. Nice bluegrass band all around, but for me the spectacular dobro playing was the greatest treat. Definitely see this guy if you can.

Rob Ickes is the best dobro player that ever lived. There is no end to what he can do with that guitar. Im a dobro player , so i know how hard it is to play that instrument. I can only hope ill be that good one day!!
