I'm pretty sure this does fall under a genre. Orchestral breakbeat, although there are so few bands out there. I'd compare this to Breakbeat Orchestra, because both sounds are fucking amazing, although BO is a little more techno-ish
Must you people categorize everything? Can't we just call it music or art; and be done with it? If you really care that much, you aren't enjoying the music as much as you should be. Now as GeorgeMcJerk said: STFU AND ENJOY.
@parkourNBG But it has one of the most famous classical lines ever written. Ever. So If anything its classical. You cant get more musically talented than Bach...So your wrong.
@Alexanderawwwr This is breakcore, you incult moron. You can't do anything about it, because that's how it's called, no matter the album (with some exceptions such as My Downfall, which is obviously not).
This is NOT DnB, because DnB indeed can't have 7 beats per bar.
This could be called a technical exercise, but you should know each and every Aaron Funk song is a technical exercise.
Aaron Funk is the most technical producer, and that's why he's the best to me (along with people like Donny).
@Alexanderawwwr Unfortunately calling something "nothing" isn't a good way to get people into it, and if my favourite music genre didn't have a name I'd have an awfully hard time finding more of it. Music this good is hard enough to find already without refusing to push it into the closest genre, so suck it up and let's just call it breakcore.
And here I thought Tool made weird music videos.... This one takes the cake though.

sometimes its also like idm. but basically drill n bass

This isn't anything you unmusical morons.
For one DnB is not in 7/4, it is not mixed with classical in its purist form such as the Rossz Csillag Alatt Szuletett album.
If anything this is a technical exercise more than anything.
This is its own genre. Its nothing like anything else.
Stop trying to name stuff that is un-nameable...

@Alexanderawwwr Can't we just agree to call it breakcore?
Loliciousfuga 4 months ago
@Alexanderawwwr Actually, the genre is called IDM. (Intelligent dance music)
Examples: Aphex Twin, Chris Clark, Venetian Snares, Bonobo, etc

@lalamonkeydude Please make a tutorial on how to dance to this, I'll pay you 500 dollars.

If Everyone's Debating The "breakcore" Label, Let Me Posit This: Your Retards. I Am Sure It's As Insulting To The Song As It Is to You.

What kind of genre would this music be considered? I just wanna find some more stuff like this, it's really awesome.
