  • That opening bit is from Moulin Rouge

  • Really, what is it about Americans that they don't seem to be aware that there are films made in non-English speaking countries. Strange really!

  • I'm aware of a great many foreign films, they just aren't necessarily my favorites. That said, the video does include clips from The Good the Bad, and the Ugly and Danger: Diabolik, both Italian films, as well as a clip from M, a German film.

  • That makes it even stranger. I mean, if you have seen the films by Godard, Truffaut, Antonioni, Bergman, Herzog, de Sica, Ozu, Fellini, Kurosawa, Wong Kar-Wai, van Trier, Fassinder, Kalatozov, Akerman, Vinterberg, Tarkovsky, Clouzot, Bunuel, Renoir, Ray, Ophüls, Visconti and didn't like any of them, one wonders why you bother to watch movies at all. Cheers

  • This is impressive should've had more views than this! I like how you have the same favorites as I do on my 100 list.

  • Great list!!!

    & great cutting too!
