The officer has a responsibility to the public to thoroughly investigate. If new evidence is offered it is his responsibility to take notice. The woman didnt listen was obviously confrontational, refused to follow directions,(Clearly) and was reaching back into the car for what a gun, a knife, some peperspray or any type of weapon. When the knock at the door at the end of the day is 2 uniforms telling your wife and kids your never coming home again, you may have a different opinion if your the one at risk. Perfectly handled, I applaud the officer. I've seen taser abuse. this clearly was not it

I, do agree some of it was wrong but you can tell that was not the whole tape also no volume. everyone knows that you don't get out of your car you cannot just step out of the car to ask for evidence, go to court for that. he told you twice to get back in your car you keep asking for the tape then he said your arrested then you want to go to back into your car? The mistakes you made where not following direction all cops do this.... but taking you down like the was power tipping wright there.

@Chindro2828 Thats not her call in that situation. It may not seem much but officers are trained in seeing potential problems. When she first got out of the car and assumed that she could "order up a viewing of the video"...it is pure control on her part. Also her plea to not have the officer act in front of her kids...hmmm well she set a bad example to her kids by arguing and resisting the officer. She basically disobeyed thus setting a effect in motion then blamed it on the cop.

If she didn't have a phone on her, there would be only one way to prove it. Show the officer there was no phone. There would be no way to prove it in court, ONLY on the scene. The officer has a responsibility to the public to thoroughly investigate. If new evidence is offered it is his responsibility to take notice. The only danger to him was the danger of looking like he made a mistake. She had two choices: make the officer do his job or become a victim of a cops willful negligence
